"...By a stroke of artistic genius, the design managed to be sinister and elegant at the same time, both forward-thinking and contemporary. The long side strakes that ran along the doors into the quarter panels served a purpose, channeling air toward the potent 5.0-liter flat twelve-cylinder engine. With exceptional performance to support its stunning looks, the Testarossa was destined to be a future collectible from day one. It is considered by many to be one of the most dramatic and striking Ferraris and an iconic “poster car” of its era..."

This one was alot of fun to design! I wanted to build something classic for you Lego city builders out there so here's my take on a Ferrari Testarossa. It's 6 studs wide and fits one minifig. I hope y'all enjoy building it as much as I did!

Haven't seen this particular Testarossa before, not surprising since there are 39 in this small country.

The Testarossa, successor to the Ferrari 512, was designed by
Pininfarina and a sensation as from its introduction. The model became an icon of the 1980s, thanks among others to its presence in three seasons of the popular American TV series "Miami Vice".
Apart from minor alterations it remained in production from 1984 up to 1996: some 9,959 models were built, which is a large number for a Ferrari. 85% of the production was red with a beige interior.
This 1991 Ferrari Testarossa is on display at Autoworld, Belgium’s national motor museum, in Brussels.

Together with Robin Kiewiet I have recently visited Classicpark, which contains of a collection of several classic cars. Since I barely know anything about the 'real' classic cars, this Testarossa was one of the only cars I knew. And damn, what car it still is.

Hello everyone, here is my latest creation, it was sitting on my shelf for a while but I didn't have the time to take the photos and post it, finally its here... Actually i do built both versions of the Testarosa, the 80s one and the 512 RT version, to be honest I am not fully satisfied with the yellow one, I liked the red one more, also this model includes a lot of details , techniques and functional elements with removable body elements and a convertible version, so please make sure to check out the YouTube video for a closer look. Thanks for visiting my page everyone, hope you like my work.

When we were kids, you either had a poster of the Lamborghini Countach or the Ferrari Testarossa on your wall. I was a Ferrari kind of guy. This is my take on the iconic (I only work in red) eighties supercar. Also featured, a couple small mods of the official Countach set from Lego that improve the Naca duct and make a lower profile wing.
