As to be expected from Mattel its the Hot Wheels division which gets priority treatment over Matchbox especially when it comes to the amount of different castings allowed per marque choice. So far MBX gets just one Tesla whilst HW luxuriates in THREE including their own take on the Model S executive car which naturally isn't quite as stock looking as its cousin. There's certainly no complaints about this beautifully deep and glossy dark blue finish and top to toe tampo treatment but as ever there is usually a compromise attached to your average HW casting and here it is a body which looks a bit too sleek for its own good and ultimately lacks that extra polish which comes with the orange brand. Bought from Morrisons back in April 2016. Mint and boxed.
