Nikola Tesla has made a new breakthrough with the power of electricity! He has created a portal to another dimension! It is shocking how fast you can be zapped into another reality!
I created another model for the New Elementary "Switch My Lantern Up" contest. The model has 1053 pieces and uses 24 of the seed part. The lantern is used as part of the portal and operational plumbing for the portal.
Last year a couple of friends challenged me to build a minifigure scale Tesla Model S, a car I fell in love with quite some time ago.
It needed a car contest in my LUG to make that happen so back in January I finally started working on it. Thanks to work and moving house days turned into weeks – and I obviously didn’t make that contest.
But hey, I’ve got my very own Tesla now. Delivered late but who cares. It even drives and has zero emissions like the original!

From looking at the web, I found that a new Tesla roadster's starting price is $200,000.00. Sounds like a deal to me and think of the status you'll achieve by simply owning one. Lots of doors will open up for you.

I think this is an old one from around 2010. They are going for around $100,000.00.

Die meisten TESLA's sind entweder schwarz oder weiß. Doch das soll sich nun angeblich ändern. Schließlich steht in Brandenburg laut Hersteller die modernste Lackieranlage der Welt. Das Versprechen von Elon Musk (51), dass hier auch neue, aufregende Farben zum Einsatz kommen sollen, etwa ein tiefes Rot namens „deep crimson“, soll gelten.
Most TESLA's are either black or white. But that is supposed to change now. After all, according to the manufacturer, the most modern paint shop in the world is located in Brandenburg. Elon Musk's (51) promise that new, exciting colors should also be used here, such as a deep red called "deep crimson", should apply.

Man, I haven't posted anything in aaaaages. Took a lengthy hiatus, largely due to some personal stuff that came up and sapped me of all motivation for most of the year. It's nice to make something new again.
I've seen Cybertrucks done plenty in 8W, but not so much in 6, so I figured I'd take a stab at it. Complete with conveniently sliced carrot.

Die meisten TESLA's sind entweder schwarz oder weiß. Das hat weniger mit der Zurückhaltung der Kunden zu tun als damit, dass Tesla oft kaum andere Farben anbietet. Auch die Model Y aus der Gigafactory in Grünheide wird bislang nur in den beiden Nicht-Farben gefertigt.

Tesla's Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg. This production facility in Grünheide is Tesla's only factory in Europe and opened in March 2022. It produces electric vehicles, especially the Model Y, and is also a development center and a major employer in the region.
One of the small number of stock thing to do with a tesla coil is to put a small rotor on the top, balanced with points. The charged air escaping from the tip creates a wind which will spin the rotor. I rigged up a little aluminum rotor with needle tips early today and tried it out tonight. Kind of a purple pinwheel.
