The knights of templar colors flying, proceed toward the amphitheater in arlington cemetery. The Marine Corps Ceremonial Band, support troops from the Army's Military District of Washington, honored guests and the general public all converge on the amphitheater for the Easter Sunrise Memorial of the Knights of Templar (The Grand Encampment) of the United States. Came upon this magical carving at the wondrous Knight's Templar Church of Welsh Newton in Gwent. Looks very similar to apotropaic 'daisy-wheel' graffiti, was this decorative or cut to afford protection from the verypresent demonic forces at play within the medieval mind?
