ITU Telecom World 2012 is the most influential ICT platform for networking, knowledge-exchange and action. It's the only one with a corporate-neutral agenda where the challenges and opportunities of connecting the transformed world are up for debate; the only one where industry experts, political influencers and thought leaders gather in one place; it's the one you don't want to miss.

La gigantesca EcoSystem Tower di Telecom Italia

The citizens of Micropolis have been complaining about the terrible mobile phone reception recently. Eventually the phone company have pulled their finger out and built a new Telecom Tower where they can house all the new equipment for the network. Another 1/4 block for the Downtown Zone. English: A big promo site for the biggest telecom company of New Zealand. The idea is to create a strong comunity around the Clever Toys each one with a different archetype to fit the New Zealand client. The user can submit, see, and vote for images, texts, videos and any kind of content. The challenge here was the dead line and the small team for the project.

With a rooftop dominated with equipment, it is as if a wireless antenna convention is being held in the penthouse of the 10+ story foreground tower. I like the rectilinear simplicity of the contemporary mid ground tower whose turquoise glass provides views of the park, lagoon, and music conservatory. The building's egg-crate boxy grid reminds me of the warehouse industrial aesthetic of more recent structures around Seattle's waterfront. The foreground tower's industrial aesthetic reminds me of early Star Wars craft, ship, and space station design.
