Hahnenklee/Harz GER
The Upper Harz Ponds (German: Oberharzer Teiche) are found mainly around the mining town of Clausthal-Zellerfeld and the nearby villages of Buntenbock and Hahnenklee in the Upper Harz mountains of central Germany. There are around 70 ponds in total, both large and small. They were built by the miners of the Upper Harz, mostly between the 16th and 18th centuries, and are important components of the cultural monument known as the Upper Harz Water Regale - a network of dams, ditches, ponds and tunnels that was built to supply much-needed water power for the mining industry in the Harz mountains. Today the Water Regale is being proposed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. About half the dammed ponds are classified today as reservoirs, but they have now become characteristic features of the Upper Harz and are home to some extremely rare plant and animal species.

Dieses Bild ist kurz nach Sonnenaufgang auf dem Niederhorn im Berner Oberland entstanden. Leider war die Fernsicht nicht so wie ich mir das gewünscht hatte, und der kleine Teich empfand ich mit dem trüben HIntergrund eher langweilig. Da musste ich selber noch ein wenig mehr kreativ werden und habe mal kleine Kieselsteine in den Teich geworfen, der Effekt gefällt mir sehr gut, ich hoffe Euch allen auch?
Vielen Dank für all Eure Likes und Kommentare, ich freue mich immer sehr darüber.
This picture was taken shortly after sunrise on the Niederhorn in the Bernese Oberland/ Switzerland. Unfortunately, the distant view was not as I had wished for, and the small pond I felt with the gloomy background rather boring. Since I had to become a little more creative and I have times small pebbles thrown into the pond, the effect I like very well, I hope you all synonymous?

Goslar/Harz Niedersachsen GER
Der Herzberger Teich befindet sich etwa 2,5 Kilometer südlich der Altstadt von Goslar in einem Tal zwischen den beinahe gleich hohen Bergen Herzberg und Rammelsberg. Das künstliche, an drei Seiten von Wald umgebene Gewässer liegt nur wenige Meter vom Besucherbergwerk und Museum Rammelsberg entfernt.
Um in trockenen Zeiten genügend Aufschlagwasser für die Wasserräder zu haben, wurde 1561 der Herzberger Teich angelegt. Seit 1926 wird dieser als Waldbad betrieben. Bis zur Stilllegung des Bergwerks wurde das Wasser zur Kühlung der Anlage genutzt, das warme Wasser wurde anschließend in den Teich zurückgepumpt und beheizte das Schwimmbecken im Waldbad. Seit etwa 2014 sind die Einrichtungen der Badeanstalt abgerissen.
