It's an interesting disposition in this new digital and automated mobility age. Since first receiving a learner's permit, we were instructed to operate a vehicle with both hands on the wheel, eyes on the road, and to avoid distractions from texting to eating. Now, automakers are reversing their tone and imploring us to let go of the wheel, play a few digital games, and relax as if it's a spa day. Well, that's precisely what I attempted to do with Mercedes-Benz DRIVE PILOT while testing an EQS sedan in Santa Monica. Yet, we were apprehensive!
