The 2012 K12 Technology Summit
Now in its fourth year, the K12 Technology Summit has established itself as the premier forum for senior-level information technology administrators from the nation’s leading school districts. This invitation-only event brings together K12 CIOs to share best practices, exchange ideas, and build new relationships with their peers.
The 2012 K12 Academics Summit
The K12 Academics Summit is a focused event for qualified K12 administrators that was developed to exclusively address the needs of leaders of instruction and learning from our nation’s largest school districts. This year will mark the inaugural year for the K12 Academics Summit and with greater focus being paid to student achievement across the nation; gathering with your peers is more important than ever. With topics ranging from meeting common core standards, creating a digital classroom, implementing successful summative and formative assessments and strengthening professional development models; our summit provides a forum to discuss the most pressing topics in K12 academia today.
The Department of Information Technology was established in 2006, under the Faculty of Engineering and Technology. The department has excellent infrastructural facilities to provide quality education in the areas of Information Technology. The faculty members seek to establish, maintain and advance a broad understanding of Computer Science in order to fulfil their academic and professional goals.
