Tonight I was troubleshooting a few problems on a network and looking to replace the switch with a spare from home. After I had mapped out the network, tested and labelled all the cabling, I installed the switch in the picture. Only to find that most of the ports on said switch have now failed :(.
I replaced the existing switch, localised the ports and ensured everything was working fully before the end of a frustrating evening.
I like the composition of this pic with the blurred foreground giving great focus on some of the tools I'd been using and the infamous switch.
This is our server room. We got IBM and HP servers installed and we got all the audio codes installed in here.

We needed a North Carolina hunting dog to find where the employee food location was. Two bus transfers later, we found a bottle of water and an apple. Life was good again.
