A Food Truck & Technology Event in Downtown Orlando
Trucks & Tech is a mashup of two cultures that we love – foodies and techies. This is the only event around that combines discussion from leaders in the Central Florida tech community with top local food trucks to fill attendees’ minds and stomachs with the best of the best. For Trucks & Tech II: Trucktoberfest we have added a twist! This Oktoberfest themed event will feature German inspired food from each food truck, an all new Startup Alley, a costume contest and beer boots galore. So bring your lawn chairs, blankets and German spirit for a night of tech, food and fun.

Technical inspection, early morning on Frank Ewald's track day at Mosport. The red car is a Nissan 240SX, the gray one a Shelby Mustang GT500, and the silver one is a VW Beetle (obviously). The black one, I don't recognize, but it looked great on track.

the big red light is the camera switch which triggers the head unit to display the rear view cam ... even when to hear unit is switched off.

EDIT to add ... it worked fine for 6 weeks then failed ... I have since installed a new Alpine head unit and camera.

Konzept und Arbeitsablauf zum Fotocartoon "TECH KILL oder Traum aller Flughafenanwohner"
Eine Kombination aus Studioaufnahme, Collage Reproduktion und Labor-Mehrfachbelichtung.
Die Idee wurde ausgelöst durch den Kauf des Insektiziedes "BIO-KILL" von welchem der Text entsprechend adaptiert wurde und eine neue Etikette für die Sprühflasche erstellt wurde, was skizzenhaft fest stand(links oben). Die Abbildungen der Flugzeuge wurden aus Aviatik- und Reisepublikationen ausgewählt, ausgeschnitten und zusammen mit dem Sprühausdruck zielgrössengerecht auf den, mit dem vorgesehenen Rahmen versehenen, Untergrund montiert (rechts oben). Dieser Bildteil wurde nun mittels Reprokamera abforografiert, als Negativ für die Labor-Mehrfachbelichtung. Im Verlauf der Belichtungsversuche für das Endbild stellte sich heraus, dass der vorgesehene Rahmen doch separat belichtet werden musste, weshalb die Schablone (unten links) erstellt wurde. Nun wurden die Belichtungs- Vergrösserungs und Kontrastwerte für die 3 Belichtungsschritte ermittelt und festgehalten (Unten rechts).
Um nun Serie von gleichen Abzügen erstellen zu können wurden die entsprechende Anzahl + 2 Stk. Fotopapier mit der Rahmenschablone belichtet, ein Abzug entwickelt, fixiert und getrocknet und die weiteren wieder Lichtdicht verpackt (Markierung auf der Rückseite links oben). Mit Hilfe das Abzuges mit dem Rahmen wurde nun der Belichtungsrahmen für die Belichtung mit dem Repronegativ der Flugzeuge und des Sprühstrahls ausgerichtet und die vorbelichteten Fotopapiere erneut belichtet. Erneut wurde eines der Fotopapiere entwickelt, fixiert und getrocknet und für die Ausrichtung für die dritte Belichtung mit der Studioaufnahme (Sprühflasche und Hand) benützt. Nun erfolgte der Rest der Belichtungen und der Verarbeitung zum fertigen Bild in einem Zug.
Wenn mann gut gearbeitet hatte, hat sich Nichts verschoben und alle Belichtungen waren passgenau. Da ich , wegen der Umständlichkeit mit der Lochung, nicht mit Passernocken/stiften abeitete, sondern auf Anschlag auf dem Belichtungsrahmen, konnten Abweichungen durchaus vorkommen und entsprechende Abzüge waren dann für den Mülleimer ;-).
Das Konzept und die analoge Ausführung waren eine Arbeit von Wochen/Monaten. Heute, mit meinem A3 Scanner und der Fotobearbeitungssofware wäre die Studioaufnahme der aufwändigste Teil der Produktion, damals war es die Repro- und Laborarbeit.
