I love the fact that they are using a Linksys WRT54G wireless router. (The fact that I can identify this from a distance is further proof that I... am a huge geek.)
Another of my redesigns for Project Rooftop's Spider-Man Contest. I went for a Tron inspired high-tech look. Glowing piping, armor, and chest emblem, plated effect on the blue section. The negative space of the red armor blocks are recall the traditional webbing pattern.
The new library is big and we have to make sure everyone's out of the building when we arm the alarm at closing, so now the pages mark themselves in and out the same way librarians and clerks always have. I am jealous that the pages were clever enough to use the space for fun messages to each other. If I did that on my board, it would probably interfere with space meant for work-related updates and the like. :/
Done!

Tech Cocktail was very excited to host another fireside chat and a Startup Mixology Book Launch Celebration in San Francisco! It was a two in a one event. In case you haven't heard, "Startup Mixology: Tech Cocktail's Guide to Building, Growing, & Celebrating Startup Success" is Frank Gruber's, CEO of Tech Cocktail, first book. A big thank you to our sponsors Dell Center for Entrepreneurs, Parisoma, and American Airlines.
The night consisted of some great chats and some special drink demonstrations made by a mixologist. Our fireside chat speakers included: Tony Conrad, Founder & CEO of About.me and Veronica Belmont, on air personality for Internet & TV.

Trucks & Tech is a mashup of two cultures that we love – foodies and techies. This is the only event around that combines discussion from leaders in the Central Florida tech community with top local food trucks to fill attendees’ minds and stomachs with the best of the best. For Trucks & Tech II: Trucktoberfest we have added a twist! This Oktoberfest themed event will feature German inspired food from each food truck, an all new Startup Alley, a costume contest and beer boots galore. So bring your lawn chairs, blankets and German spirit for a night of tech, food and fun.
