Des Moines Public Schools is going to finish the school year through distance learning, and is working to distribute computers to any of their 33,000 students who need one. Caught up with the two tech specialists at North High School - Amanda Dvorak and Mike Lucht - as they got laptops ready to provide the next morning to 200 of the school's senior class.

Nothing fancy here. My son got some Tech Decks, and I used them to work out some flash issues I've been having. I don't work with flash often, but when I do, it's usually wireless. I've had trouble figuring out how to adjust the power level of the flash when it's wireless. That's easy to adjust on the flash when it's connected, but was alluding me when wireless. God forbid I should read the owner's manual. I finally found that adjustment, in the camera settings, under the Built-In Flash>Commander Mode menu. I felt elated and stupid, all at the same time.
