This is a delicate little cup, wonderfully shaped, with fantastic purple blue curtain draped over a rich mellow gold

I am really liking my new teacups and saucers. I have been trying to drink more tea, and cute cups make it all the more easier :)

 

Passion, an herbal infusion tea by Tazo. I like it, though it is different! It's a pretty red color, too.

 

Ingredients: Hibiscus flowers, natural tropical flavors, citric acid, orange peel, licorice root, cinnamon bark, rose hips, lemongrass and red poppy flowers.

 

A wee mouse couldn't resist having a swing on the handle!

I believe this style, "Daisy", was made from 1959 to 1969. I'd love to find the matching teapot!

The name digitalis comes from the Latin word for "finger," The flower got its informal name from the legend that fairies gave these blossoms to the foxes to wear on their claws for gloves, so they would not get caught when raiding the chicken coop. Foxgloves are symbolic of insincerity.

My first attempt making gumpaste teacups! THANK YOU to Jacque Benson for being a major inspiration!!! While I do not have Jacque's painting skills... I am actually quite happy with this first attempt.

Vintage teacups and a teapot and plastic flowers!!!

this is a quick ink and watercolor sketch. When I feel my paintings are getting too tight, I love to do quick sketches with ink or just watercolor. I have many of my grandmothers tea cups - they are so pretty and colorful and I like to add them to my paintings.

I just fall in love when I saw this little teacup...The whole collection of the Wedgwood Cuckoo is so lovely! So i have to save to collect the complete Afternoon tea range....there are four different colours teacups, cakestand, plates and milk and sugar cans..

 

I'm so inspired to make a matching cupcake or cake!

 

This is how it looks when you carry it... You could even wear it as a wristlet.
