Mikado teahouse with a long exposure at baltic sea by the beach of Timmendorf.

Chaniwa (茶庭) or tea garden seen from the tea house in Furukawa Residence. It is a small garden in the large garden enclosed with bamboo hedge. Tea house is usually a wooden small house often modelled after farmer's residence to mimic a simple country life called Wabi-zumai (侘び住まい), which may have been a dream for those lived lives that were the opposite.

Green powdered tea (抹茶) was served in the tea house for $4, which was a price rather for this view.

I was invited for a special occasion at the teahouse and was impressed by the realism of all details!

Yuyuan Gardens is somewhat known to be a tourist trap, as it has been commercialised rather much to the point that it feels rather overcrowded and claustrophobic with boxy traditional Chinese buildings all over.

Yet somehow many come here just to soak into the atmosphere, even if it feels somewhat unreal.

It all started because of 8f8's new set for the Arcade this September called ♪ Trea Time ♫. I decided I wanted to redo my Moon Cafe and add some of those beautiful pieces. After that, Bambi said something that sounded like what if the Cafe Moon was a teahouse hidden behind an alleyway and luring people with the scent of rich tea aroma (It sounded so fancy like an NPC giving me a story quest in a game, you know those!) So her idea inspired me to move the cafe moon and incorporate the little unexpected challenge I took on.

I am so happy with the result, but you know what makes me even happier? I get to show off these 2 items that Bambi made, her fresh journey of being an SL creator! She made the little wooden nailed Robin called Robbie and the little wooden hedge hogged nails infront of the counter called Samuel. Aren't they adorable? I mean look at the detail of the wood and her handmade textures.(Did I mention I take pictures on Low settings and I lightly edit on photoshop so this is LEGIT) They look so lovely mixed with other creations I adore.

I am so looking forward to her creations and will forever be the annoying cheerleader in the background failing at dance moves! Her zeal, energy and patience really amazes me, I love how Oh Deer is not going to be just a cozy cafe giving comfort to travelers but it is also going to be a little creation from the heart bringing smile to peoples faces and you can take them all home.

P.S. As much as I am a morning coffee person, at home, I mostly indulge in tea and have a silly collection of herbs that it makes more sense I have a tea house rather than a cafe so Cafe Moon is now 'converted' into Moonlight Teahouse (Soooo fancyyyyy! :p Feels so classy for some odd reason... >.> I will shush now...SMILE)

Taken at the Beautiful Teahouse Gardens of Yokubo! The most beautiful sim for taking pics, relaxation and naughtiness!

Home to The Emperor's Lounge nightclub, Yokubo is truly a garden of lust! Will you zen or will you sin? The choice is yours!

A 300 years old teahouse that has been preserved through 6 generations without changes... The boss refused to renovate to ensure the original state of the teahouse design is kept to its truest form. He told me the structure is built without a single nail needed and it has been maintained as it is..... one and only probably in chengdu, if not china...

春日大社から若草山へ向かう途中、この茶屋を見つけました。

古風な姿がすっかり気に入りここで一服する事としました。

We found this teahouse on the way from Kasuga Taisha Shrine to Mt. Wakakusa. We completely liked the old-fashioned appearance and decided to take a break here.

Early morning view along the main street of the Higashi Chaya district in Kanazawa, Japan.

The city of Kanazawa has three well-preserved historic chaya ("teahouse") districts, and Higashi Chayagai, or the Eastern Chaya district, is the largest. The chaya offered food, drink, and entertainment by geisha. The buildings here date from around 1820, when the chaya were relocated from the central part of the city to their current locations. Traditionally, the houses featured lattices on the exterior of the ground floor, and guestrooms above. Some of the chaya are today preserved as semi-museums, still offering tea and sweets and geisha performances, while many others are now cafes, restaurants, and shops.

The Higashi Chaya district has been designated as a Japanese cultural asset.
