--Country-pop star Taylor Swift performs Saturday night on the first of two sold out nights at Philips Arena on her Speak Now World tour. This was a make-up from a show previously scheduled on July 9. Needtobreathe and Danny Gokey were the openers.

My wife and I are both Taylor Swift fans, and when she announced her Glendale tour stop, we tried as hard as we could to get tickets, to no avail.
After trying a second time (Denver) and third (Vegas), we finally managed to get tickets for her last stop in LA.

In 2010 I won tickets to a private performance to see Taylor Swift. I was told that there would not be any photography allowed so I did not bring my dslr. I did ,however, have my point and shoot.
I was lucky enough to have been in the 2nd row..Soon as the performance started, everyone took out their cameras. I probably could have brought my dslr.
