THE SCOOP ---------------------------------------------------------------->

Before you say anything here folks, these albums were rescued from a vinyl holder box I found thrown out on the street...think there was a rather good collection in there.

Since childhood, I had always dreamed of this project, except then, they were like cd's & very costly for a kid to collect. Therfore, "trashing" them would've been tantimount to TOTAL blasphemy!

I waited some time, but finally got the chance to do the project when I rescued these albums from the street. So many people come over & blast me for "ruining" these albums. And time after time, I explain to them that I actually saved them from the dumpster/landfill & managed to take things musical to another level by making them visual.

The debate continues...EYEWASH design: NYC, 2006 www.eyewashdesign.blogspot.com

F.Y.I.:

The artwork work is comprised of 70 l.p.'s. It represents some 56 taxes imposed on United States citizens, leaving room for 14, yet to come.

ASIDE: n 2005, the ILLEGAL tax on the labor of U.S. citizenry collected comprised: US$927.2 billion. Yet, the LEGAL corporate income tax collected was only: US$278.3 billion.

No thanks to Woodrow Wilson, in 1913, the Federal Reserve - a private, not a government institution - was created by a select group of extremely wealthy men. This directly took power from our own government and handed it to this small group of dominant banker$. The result allowed a then great industrial nation to be controlled by a system of credit, rather than actual gold bullion. Our citizens were forced to hand over their gold & to date, there has never been an audit of the actual gold. Therefore, there is no actual proof it's there.

Also in 1913, the banker$ committed the most diabolical fraud ever perpetrated on the American people, by bribing Senators to pass the Federal Reserve Act without the required Constitutional Amendment. They did this during Christmas vacation, when many Senators were at home, celebrating the holidays with their families. This allowed for the unconstitutional Federal Reserve Act to come into being.

They were very clever & understood that whoever issued the money for America would control the government.

The U.S. income tax is a completely illegal instrument of totalitarianism. It is THE economic means by which our government manipulates its people, whilst placing our citizens in a condition of a lifetime of servitude.

We a country taxed from birth, until after death (inheritance tax), yet we are the only first world country without nationalized education or health care.

Over 500,000 Americans have no health coverage and thousands more are bankrupted from having to pay exorbitant premiums & non-coverage fees (nearly everything is uncovered).

Yet, people willingly hand over their hard-earned monies to the government in the form of an illegally collected tax. I invite you to look through the statutes & to find the law requiring citizens to pay income taxes. Because, when you do, you won't be able to identify one law requiring wage-earning Americans working in private corporations, to pay income taxes. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO LAW STATING THAT AMERICANS MUST PAY INCOME TAX.

On Tax Day, April 17, 2018, one year after the first Tax March, communities across the country are taking action and speaking out against the Trump Tax. Grassroots activists, elected officials, and community leaders joined together at more than 100 events happening from coast to coast to fight for an economy that works for all Americans, not just the wealthy few. In the 2010, the Average Net Worth of the richest U.S. 25 House of Representatives Total 2.1 Billion Dollars, according to data from OpenSecrets.org, Center for Responsive Politics.

Nineteen of the richest House members are Republicans, while six are Democrats. The Republican House members have been the strongest supporters to avoid returning tax rates to their pre-2001 level. The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimated that extending the Bush era tax cuts from 2011-2020 will add $3.3 trillion to the national debt - $2.65 trillion in lost tax revenue and $0.66 trillion for debt interest.

Today taxes are lower than at any point since 1979, and have been credited with growing the government budget deficit, shifting the tax burden from the rich to the middle and working classes, and increasing income inequality without creating domestic economic growth. Unfortunately when controlling government representatives from the House are from the wealthy class, their policies increasingly support the richest rather than the majority of working Americans.

Though they served under presidents of different political parties, two of the nation's leading macroeconomists found much more to agree on in a discussion about the economic implications of long-term debt.

Closing on an optimistic note, both cited immigration reform as a promising way forward for a Congress that has been too divided to make progress on other major legislation. Krueger said, "I think immigration reform is probably the lowest-hanging fruit as far as economic and fiscal policy goes." Hubbard agreed, adding, "it should be in both sides' economic and political interest to accomplish that. And it would provide a signal far beyond immigration reform that says, 'Look, we can talk about big things that are contentious and come to a solution."

The British High Commission and the Chevening Alumni Association of Pakistan jointly hosted a policy discussion on tackling the tax crisis in Pakistan.

Talking about the recent economic crisis and recovery, President Clinton said, "[T]hat's what's been so challenging about the subject that brings everybody together here at the Peterson Foundation. We have a long-term debt issue. We have long-term age distribution issues, aggravated by the fact that we have not passed immigration reform, which I think would ease a lot of these other problems."

Few issues will gain more public and political attention in coming years than tax reform -- both fundamental reforms and incremental changes to our tax code. Through successive tax cuts that primarily benefited the very wealthiest, President Bush has already made the federal tax system more complicated and unfair, while starving the nation of revenues needed to meet our current and future challenges. On January 31, 2005, American Progress held a forum to release its comprehensive plan for progressive tax reform.

And as part of his concluding remarks, President Clinton summarized why it's important to continue to care about our long-term fiscal challenges and economic growth: 'The thing I like about this Peterson [Summit] is I know a lot of people think we should have stopped talking about the deficit and the debt when the economy was down. On the other hand, to pretend that there are no long-term demographic changes or healthcare drivers here is crazy. And I think [that] continuing to focus on things that will shape the possibilities for America in the future."

[Alan] Kreuger saw the corporate side of the code as most in need of reform, saying "it's hard to conceive of a worse tax code than the one that we have on the corporate side. [It] doesn't raise much revenue, it gives incentives to keep money abroad, it gives incentives for inversions of companies. It distorts economic activity in all kinds of ways."
