Here we are reminded of our task list we have to work on.

Task.

Commissioned by Bieffeplast Scorpion table lamp designed by Gary Morga 1986 and prototyped by Gary in Alistair McCallum workshop in Old Street, London and taken to Bieffeplast, Padova later that year. The movable lamp module takes power from the two conducting metal rods and can be positioned any where between them. The module can be removed and located on top of the base.

In a landmark step to accelerate progress towards ending polio in Somalia and accelerating immunization coverage, the Prime Minister of Somalia, His Excellency Hamza Abdi Barre, has today launched a national task force on immunization and polio.

The Somalia Immunization and Polio Eradication Task Force (SIPE), chaired by the Prime Minister, will oversee and coordinate polio eradication and immunization efforts across the country, mobilize financial and technical resources, and ensure that every child in Somalia is reached with lifesaving vaccines. The task force comprises key health officials at federal and state levels and international partners.

Some years ago this room in St Marks Church crypt was painted white for a temporary art exhibition. One of the requirements was that the room would be painted back the way it was. The colour scheme is not to everyones taste.
