I finally managed to make satisfactory versions of Soap and Ghost, and then I built Royce out of the left over parts.

Credit for Ghost's head, Soaps's mohawk, and Royce's vest go to KJ (The Knight).

Out to go sink a cap ship. Or, to get some starbucks. With a vengeance. Group shot including the corvette. I suck at photography. 1 stud = 5 meters.

"An army marches on its stomach." The combined mess (dining facility) is build for the special operations task force only, and it has a dining hall, a TV room, a coffee room, a small gym, and a fire pit outside.

An older woman, squatting at a roadside market, uses a tub of water and a cloth to scrub the soil off carrots. Those of us who have vegetable gardens know about the perennial task of washing the soil off the root vegetables, and it was good be reminded that this is a universal task that defies country boundaries.

High Master Aren Gyyll's Jedi Task Force has been assigned to the planet of Kafrene, and trying to protect it's neutrality, or win them over to the Republic.

Jedi Padawan Lohirr Sartori

Master Gyyll’s latest Padawan, Lohirr Sartori is adept with the force. Not even an adult yet, Sartori’s training has been rushed due to the outbreak of the Clone Wars. His dream is to replace Jocasta Nu as the Jedi Temple librarian once she could no longer serve. Joining his Master’s Task Force, he can’t wait to see what comes next in his trials to become a Jedi Knight.

Jedi Knight Mara Sol

Former Padawan to Shaak Ti, Mara Sol studied the history of the Jedi and the Galaxy, eventually earning the rank of Knight. Preferring negotiation and diplomacy to conflict and violence, Sol opted for the defensive Soresu form of lightsaber combat. She volunteered to join High Master Gyyll’s Task Force, hoping to unearth some historical discoveries on their mission.

Jedi High Master Aren Gyyll

Jedi High Master Aren Gyyll is an exemplary Jedi. He always maintains a calm head, and follows the Jedi Code to the letter. Even when he lost his sight as a younger Jedi Knight, he never strayed from his teachings, or was swayed by the Dark Side, even for a second. After he reached the rank of Master, he was contacted by a desperate mother from a backwater Rim planet, begging him to take her daughter and train her in the ways of the Jedi. He did so, and instilled his beliefs into her, raising her to become an extraordinary Jedi. Though he is no longer in the prime of his life, Gyyll remains one of the strongest and highest ranking Jedi in the entire Order.

Jedi Knight Kassk Kar'so

Padawan to Coleman Trebor, Kassk Kar’so was a skilled duelist and fierce warrior. Following his master’s death during the Battle of Geonosis, Kar’so was quickly elevated to the rank of Knight to help replaces the losses from the start of the Clone Wars. Kassk volunteered for High Master Gyyll’s Task Force, hoping to get to test his martial prowess against an actual warrior, and not a battle droid.

Jedi Master Master Xira Ven

Hailing from a world where the Force was considered an abomination, Xira was exiled from her family and her home once signs of her force-sensitivity began to show. In an act of mercy, her mother contacted the Jedi Order, handing her over to a young Jedi Master, who took her as his Padawan. Her strength in the Force grew as she aged, and she was quoted to have “personified the Jedi way”. Her skill lead her to be knighted before the age of twenty, and later granted the rank of Master at the age of twenty-five. Almost ten years after becoming a Jedi Master, Ven has yet to take a padawan.

The final lore dump before the first part of the story, enjoy ;D

A little break in the weather has produced a little rain, which means puddles...slushy puddles at that! I am always drawn to reflections, perhaps it is from growing up in a city that produces more than its fair share of rain, but whatever it is...I love reflections, mostly the kind that come from puddles though. Especially urban settings......I stand by what I have said before....Nothing beats looking down and finding life in a puddle......

Bringing back a classic I guess. I started doing some (regrettably short lived) Task Force X mini-series near the end of my GCW era, which followed along with the Luthor stories I was doing for the game. I never really wanted to throw them to the side post-GCW, and so they more or less went into hibernation, until now that is. I upgraded the entire roster, and will soon be posting more mission mini-series of Task Force X; with new members, characters, old friends and enemies, and more of that infighting we love so much!

Task Force X Members

Colonel Rick Flag Jr.

Leader of Task Force X and a patriotic master of hand combat. His facial appearance changed greatly from his past look (Silver sunglasses and smile), to the sterner look he requires.

Clock King

Master planner and time tactician. His appearance has changed in terms of color more than physical features. Rather than dark tan, the Clock King now sports a light grey suit (Though with the same black gloves and bowler hat). The suit it’s him well with a clock printed in the pocket, as well as a new printed watch tile.

Plastique

Explosives assassin and demolition expert. Her appearance has changed most of any of the members; gone is the dark blue jumpsuit, replaced by black and red leather. And her short red hair has now been replaced with long orange hair.

Deadshot

A new member of the team, replacing regular Coco, Deadshot is the most accurate assassin on the planet. Originally, I did intend to have Deadshot from the beginning, but I was unable to use him, since my good friend Peppersalt was actively using him (Very well I might add). Being post-GCW and seeing he was “killed off” by Peppersalt (Which timing for re-release of TFX with Deadshot is completely coincidental by the way), I feel free to use him, though I do like working in the collective continuity, so there’s some explaining to do. Eventually, I’ll obtain an eye-scope for him.

Captain Boomerang

Expert marksman and inventor. Almost identical to his previous appearances, his only alteration is the head choice, which now fits very well with his normal look from comics etc.

--------

Coming soon will be more mission from Task Force X; and in the mean time you can look at the previous missions in the Task Force X Set. Also look for my “DC Arrows” which should be coming next week—waiting on a part to arrive. Also, Mad Love is appearing on the horizon.
