Cotton and Maggie refused to cooperate for this photo op. They insisted on being blown over by the wind. So did Jack and Stephen, actually, but I'm a hard taskmaster. Keri isn't.
After laying 55 bags of mulch yesterday and 55 bags today (we still need more) Mr.SpooAddict felt the need to go over my frontdoor trim paint job, for the third time. (I did the first 2 coats) He did get the trouble light for me when it got dark and sat in a lawn chair (the one I sat in to take this pic) and watched my endeavors.
Zak came home from work and said dad was a taskmaster and he may just see us on Dateline NBC someday, one of the stories where the man is a controlling monster and at some point the woman just offs him. I had to smile.........He is a wonderful man and that was a funny thought. But many of you know, It just isn't right until they put their touch on it. After almost 24 years of marriage, I still let him think he needs to touch up........besides, if something is a tad off, or goes wrong with the final product, he had a hand in the procedure........now who is the smartest spouse?
This is a nice way to measure TM's capabilities.
In the Avengers movie, it took Hawkeye + an invasion crew to infiltrate the helicarrier.
Taskmaster was able to accomplish this feat by himself, even going beyond his mission objective. He was "tasked" to break in and reach Maria Hill's office as a way to test Helicarrier security. After achieving his objective, he even went as far as leaving a message for Maria Hill in her personal quarters.

Ego is the part of our mind that keeps us wanting which in turn produces pride, sadness, anger, worry, insecurity and judgementalism towards others. The source of any negativity can be traced to the ego. It literally is a heartless taskmaster that drains one’s emotional energy.
For the ego, the answer is always “out there”. We subscribe to its edicts in hopes that it will fill the void in us that we so desperately want to be filled. “Follow my prescribed path, for then, will you receive that which you seek”, says the ego. But to our chagrin, we discover that the happiness or the freedom promised by the ego is nothing but an unreachable mirage.
The simple fact of the matter is that, the ego is a bully and bullies are epic weaklings within their core. It thrives on imprisoning the heart, but it does so by not realizing the fact that the heart has the power to rewrite the mind.
Freedom begins when we realize that the heart is infinitely more powerful than the mind. Authentic emotional freedom has nothing to do with anything that comes from without. Nothing and not one human being can grant us freedom. Freedom is experienced from within.
One way to experience that freedom is by loving unconditionally. Love is a power source that transforms our mind. It is similar to the water gushing out of a hose. Before the water hits the plant, it saturates the hose from within. When we meditate and speak negativity, no matter how justified we think we are with our assertions or how factual we think the thought is, the negativity soils our mind and binds us. But when we proactively and unconditionally love, it saturates us first and sets us free, free to be ourselves and to be effective conduits of Love.

Spider - Man reluctantly teams up with a trigger happy vigilante named Solo to take on Taskmaster's students.
I felt bad for Spidey in this one, because as if he didn't have enough trouble fighting the bad guys, he found himself busy with keeping Solo from killing anyone again and again.
Around 12 years in the comics, Taskmaster is still a rookie in this one. He makes his appearance here not to long after Punisher put him in the hospital during that kill list contest he had with Tombstone in Daredevil #293 (1991)
