Pelecanus occidentalis

This was a portrait made from combined photos. The Capt is from Tarpon Springs and is a spnge boat Capt. The boats you see are shrimpers and boats used in sponge fishing. In the portrait I try to capture the feeling of wistfulness for the old times when the Sponge and shrimp business was booming in Tarpon Springs. Many of the boats are no longer being used and lay abandoned at the docks.

First edit.
