Women's Clothing Department, Target, Pics by Mike Mozart instagram.com/MikeMozart

We went to Target and the flashlight cupboard was bare.

Three or four weeks before Ike came through I bought two new flashlights and two new rechargeable nightlights. Not sure what prompted me to do that but I was very glad I had made those purchases and wasn't actually hoping to buy something in this aisle.

Architectural Painting and Renovation completed the restoration of beams and corbels in the 1932 historic Annie Russell Theatre of Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. As the oldest performing arts theater in the state of Florida the beams were in need of a thorough cleaning, touch-up of stenciled areas and stenciling of areas that have been painted over in solid color through the years.

To keep the integrity of the Annie Russell Theatre stencils were fabricated by APR Inc. to match the historic designs. APR Inc. matched and created custom colors to replicate the aged tones of the designs and matched colors prior to glazing for the newly stenciled areas.

At evaluation after the initial start of the project it was determined that all areas, needed to be re-hand painted to brighten and freshen up the designs while still maintaining the integrity of the patina.

chawne surprised me with this mug at rhinebeck. she remembered that i had missed all of the missoni stuff at target, including all of the mugs.

Our local Target is currently being renovated. This corner is where the toy department was once located. It's since been moved to the center of the store.

FIREWALLcreated under the direction of Geoffrey EwertTarget Theatre, VictoriaBelfry Incubator Project

Created and performed by Target Theatre through the Belfry Theatre’s Incubator program, Firewall is a collaboratively devised performance that investigates the role technology plays in keeping seniors connected to friends, family, and society. With a lyrical fusion of nostalgia and technology, Firewall explores both the advantages and disadvantages of the internet, social media, and virtual connections – not just for older generations, but for everyone. Does being ‘connected’ really save us from becoming isolated?

This Target symbol is located on the street right in front of a Target and a Toys R Us.

The Toys R Us store has skylights and a wood floor. It must be a newer style of Toy R Us decor.

North Korean posters, 2010/11

North and South Korea fought a political war in 1950-53, with Soviet Russia backing the former and the US the latter. Relations between isolationist and repressive North Korea and its more economically developed neighbour have been volatile ever since. Government-produced posters like these are displayed on large billboards throughout North Korea. Bearing the visual hallmarks of early Soviet propaganda, they show stylised painted depictions of industrial, technological or cultural progress set against past struggles.

Part of Hope to Nope: Graphics and Politics 2008-18

US presidents bookend Hope to Nope: Graphics and Politics 2008-18, which highlights through displays of banners, badges, quilts, placards, animations, filmed footage, T-shirts and hats, among other items, how graphic design has been used to engage with social, political and environmental upheavals worldwide during the past decade...

...The thread running through it all, however, is the rapid development during the past 10 years of information sharing and social-media platforms. They may employ highly simplified graphic icons as their brand identities but there’s nothing unsophisticated about the extraordinary international reach and potential influence

The Northrop KD2R5 "Shelduck" basic training drone was used by the armed forces of at least several countries. The KD2R5 was used as a training device for ground-to-air gunnery practice. It was also used as a training target for surface-to-air missiles such as the Seacat, Tigercat, Redeye, Blowpipe, Sparrow, Chaparral, Hawk, Sidewinder and Nike.

Trying the gun won from dart game in bazaar. Definitely much lower value than the $10 paid for the darts. Has to factor in the throwing darts experience and setup costs though.

Thank you again to all of our monthly Artistamp ATC swap participants!

I combined the January and February swaps because it was during the time when I was down with bronchial pneumonia and couldn't keep up with motivating everyone. hehe I also made the decision to skip March altogether so that we could get back on schedule.

The participants were (clockwise from top left): Leigh "Mudglue" Koegler, Heather Price, Leigh again, Sharon "inkybru" Bruner, me, Robin Walters (twice), Terri Nickelson-Williams and (at center) Terri again.

Everyone that participates in the Artistamp ATC swaps each month receive an Ultra Pro collector card sheet (shown) full of the month's swap submissions. All participants will also be included in the Artistamp ATC BOOK at the end of the year that I will have printed professionally; all artists will have their own feature section with a bio.

Look like a wine connoisseur w/o actually drinking a single bottle. This seems like a waste of cork.

It was a cute umbrella.

Target #2099 246 Westminster Dr Carlisle, PA

Being a short guy doesn't have many advantages. Sure, playing hide and seek might be easier, flying coach is way better for me, but the best part is that I find great deals in the boy's department at Target. Three sweatshirts, nine bucks a piece. The stupid men's department had the same shit for $23 a piece. Take that, tallies!

Jasper Johns (1958).

To make the bokode targets I printed them on paper, then took a photo of them onto 35 mm slide film. This example is self-referential: the target is on film shown on the left. The right image shows the "bokeh" image, taken with the film placed in the "bokeh projector" and the camera a meter away but focused at infinity. (The text is the MIT's SIGGRAPH abstract).

The body of text here is about 3.5 mm high. A letter 'e' is about 85 microns high.
