„Hans Christian Hansen, der mit dem Universitätsgebäude bereits Maßstäbe für den Athener Klassizismus gesetzt hatte, sollte auch den Bau der Nationalbibliothek übernehmen. Durch seinen Tod 1883 hat dann aber sein zehn Jahre jüngerer Bruder Theophil, der bereits die Akademie errichtet hatte, den Auftrag für den Neubau der Nationalbibliothek erhalten.
Sein Entwurf fügte sich harmonisch den bereits bestehenden Gebäuden der Akademie und Universität an und rundet das Bild der „Athener Trilogie“ an der Universitätsstraße ab. Got some beacon lights on my right bathing the rocks. The sun about to rise at the back right. Saw this as an opportunity to tame the sea and bring the light ito this arena.

Looks can be deceiving, especially with marcro photography. These mushrooms were actually only about 1 inch tall. It was raining, my feet were in the river and the fish eye lens kept collecting rain drops, waterfall drops and bumping into the mushrooms. It was a sight for sure. My wife has always loved this image, but I have never posted it. Here you go, enjoy. Sorry there is no moss in this image. :)

Winzer is a district of Regensburg. The name goes back to the many winegrowers. Here, wine was cultivated from the Roman period to the 19th century on a large scale. Today, Winzer is the "vegetable garden" of Regensburg.
(130/366) This is our tame Robin from last year that we christened "White Tip" because of the white edge on his wing (see my Album of Robin photos). He has eaten out of my fingers on occasion. We assume he's a he as he's been a lot more visible whilst Mrs Robin has been sitting on eggs. He's been taking flies & caterpillars away for the babies but just for a treat he joined us during a tea break (Martin had been mowing the lawn) for a few Digestive biscuit crumbs.
