When there is too much for my brain to absorb, I write everything down and only have to remember two things: that everything is written on my notebook and that my notebook is on my table.

My IIIxe connected to its Landware GoType! Pro. The exclamation point is actually part of the name. The keyboard works very well once you adjust to the smaller size. It also functions as a hotsync cradle and came with the cable to connect to a PC. It's got stylus holders (I've seen people refer to them as "silos"), on on each side of the keyboard. Came with TakeNote and WordSleuth.

I love this thing.

It's not being made anymore.

I decided to upload a picture of the back of my GoType! keyboard mainly because of one thing: the P/N. It's 2500. As near as I can tell the original III/VII series keyboard's part number was 1121. This is a later III/VII series GoType! Pro--the pro basically just means they added a serial connection so the keyboard could double as a hotsync cradle. But I can't find any trace of this keyboard on any website.

I got this keyboard when LandWare was running their "Author's bundle" where you bought their software (TakeNote and WordSleuth) and the keyboard was free. It was an excellent deal. But it almost seems like I'm the only person on the planet with this particular model. I've seen references to a 2540, but not 2500. LandWare isn't making any keyboards anymore, so I don't know if there's anyone working for them that would know what the story is with this keyboard.
