Picture the Holidays Day 11: shaping up
This prompt stumped me last year and stumped me again this year. I can't seem to get my head around shapes that make me think of other things. So instead I'm just going with shapes, of which there are plenty in this photo of one of my kitchen windows.
I didn't add any texture. That's just the window shade.
Sorry for all the uploads. I'm just trying to catch up. A few of my other recent photos for picture the holidays are below -- just so they don't get completely crushed by more recent uploads.
EDIT: I get the sense people don't understand this. The star and bunting are hanging on my window on the inside, and the lights are hanging on the outside. I pulled the fabric roman blind down over them all because the sun was so bright, and the sun illuminated it all like this.
I took this in the Rackable trailer intending to use it in presentations. Wasn't until later I realized it was the wrong way round.
yeah, nothing she is wearing is hers.. my size ten boots, which were way to big for her petite feet (couldn't tell), her fiance's blouse, & my skivvy shorts & corset that I am trying to get her bf/fiance to buy from me for her for a wedding present (the outfit) since I've only worn it twice for a total of 20 minutes...
ok so I cheated, its not a self portrait.. but I really like the two shots I took of her...
