i've been making quite a bit of homemade pasta recently. this is my second time at gnocchi.

Many times I catch Jacob staring into space. I can tell that is is deeply thinking about something. To him, the world is one big adventure and he is amazed with every little detail.

That's my teenaged grandmother (whom we called "Dana") riding shotgun on the right.

She's sitting with her older sister Sallie, who also appears in the center of this photo. Looks like she's in charge - she's wearing leather leather riding gloves and the carriage whip is right in front of her in its holder. Some pretty fair looking hats they're sportin'.

They're probably in Clarksville, Tennessee. The sign on the general store behind them reads:

We were high on a hill where the wind was blowing with a force. Our friends decided to take a nice photo of the two of us together. So we primped a little, centred ourselves around the sign and held on!... Due to the fact that our friend was quite far away and zoomed in, we weren't quite sure when they were taking the photo!!!... that's John's glasses in the air!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, we're known as quite a handsome couple! lol

I went to the Brookville Lake early today, and found this feather on the beach. I loved the drops of water on it.

the only thing i did to this was one was crop and a little touch up. i used blue food coloring in the water.
