A Vervet Monkey commandeers a picnic table in South Africa's Kruger National Park. I think the snarl was intended to keep other monkies away from his table, but it worked on the humans just as well.

Vas;ka is always prepared to eat something from our food. Therefore he is always the first to be at the table at lunchtime.

Had an old, vintage film camera so I said why not try this? And of course, Black Redstarts where more than happy to try out this new "perch".

Our previous Vas'ka (1992-2008) was a coward, he never could jump on the table (as the present cat does) and no one except me could pat him... That was a rare case he tried to move the cheese
closer to understand what it is like.
Happy Caturday to all Flickr friends!
Thank you for visits, faves and comments!
The perfect location and setting for that romantic meal for two at the water's edge. The last rays of the sun shimmer and glisten on the water. The occasional boat sedately going about it's business. The perfect end to the day.
Quirky table crafted from an antique suitcase, with mismatched old wooden chairs, at the little cafe serving coffee and cake at the Port Augusta railway station.

The Ring Road to Mývatn passes through rather arid desert landscapes, but the weather conditions can make it interesting. This was the case, with landscapes whitened by snow and a highly structured cloud layer, often including lenticular formations.
A shiny cafe-table on Hindley Street, at dusk this evening. I had to resort to using my iPhone as my compact zoom camera was out of battery juice.
I’m thinking maybe a return to iPhone camera might be in order as it does make posting so easy. These days, my work-life balance is totally out of control and I need to get back to posting on Flickr.
