Fairview Ave E
The Residences on Fairview is a limited collection of 21 attached residences on fee-simple lakeside lots. Located on Wards Cove on the only 5-acre waterfront site that allows for a contiguous shoreline residential development that offers panoramic views. From the beginning, the design & development team focused on creating a highly crafted multi-family boutique development, est. a new landmark on the eastern shore of Lake Union, w/ a signature Seattle western view.
No 2 units are exactly the same, while working off a basic kit of parts. Living areas are on the upper floors, both indoor & outdoor, w/ guest bedrooms or home office entries off of the ground level. Homes also have outdoor living areas on the roofdecks & private terraces at the ground level. They feature private garages, options for in-home elevators, green roofs, outdoor rooftop grilling, & boast the most fabulous lake views & roof terrace.
All homeowners will have access to the amenities, which include moorage opportunities, a conference/event room facility, a furnished suite for overnight guests, a fitness center & ample storage for paddleboards, kayaks or bikes. The Residences create a “quintessential” Seattle place – w/ iconic views: of Gasworks Park, float planes, crew shells, sailboats, & a connection to the water: a celebration of the outdoors, in the middle of the city, just 10mins from the heart of downtown Seattle.

Cheapo home studio:
1. A piece of A3-size paper (was my "Konstruktionsarbeit")
2. Table lamp (found on my table)
3. Walimex reflector (got it free from CHIP)
4. Styrofoam board (found in the storeroom)
5. Ipod case (found it in the drawer)
6. Nikon SB600 (well, it's cheaper than SB800/900).
Created by Tiffany Studios in 1901. From the exhibit’s description:
“The Wisteria lamp was designed by Clara Driscoll, who was responsible for most of the Tiffany lampshades, with the assistance of her ‘Tiffany girls.’ Of particular note are the open bronze branches at the top, from which the wisteria blossoms fall to an irregular edge.”
Louis Comfort Tiffany was a renowned American artist who produced multiple types of artwork, including paintings, ceramics, metalwork, and jewelry. He is best known for his glass pieces, including stained glass windows and lamps. He employed novel approaches with glass and metal to create beautiful, detailed results. Tiffany found inspiration in nature, including plants and animals, which is reflected in many pieces he produced. In addition to being an artist himself, he created a company that included other artists and craftsmen. Later in life he became the first Design Director for Tiffany & Co., the jewelry company his father had founded.
Seen at an exhibit of Tiffany pieces from the Driehaus Collection, displayed at The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation in Dearborn, Michigan.
