This Victorian Stained Glass and Walnut Heartwood lamp explodes with rich wood grain and intricate detail in the illuminated stained glass. It would make a fine accent lamp, table lamp or desk lamp.

C'est la Lune is a fused glass table sculpture and accent light. The central area of glass was created using a method called glass raking. Pieces of different colored glass were heated to a near molten temperature in my kiln. At this point, I opened the lid and using a metal rake, pulled the glass in different directions creating the fluid, ocean-like quality you see.
The raked glass was combined with other colors using traditional fusing methods. Dichroic glass was used to add further depth and interest. As a final flourish, swirls, a Celtic knot design and the phrase "C'est la lune que j'aime le mieux" (It is the moon I like the best) were added using liquid platinum and firing once again.
The glass is securely anchored in a wood base. A hole was drilled behind the glass to allow for an electric socket and 4 watt bulb. The piece can be enjoyed with ambient room light or with the light bulb illuminated.
The title and phrase come from a story about a mom and daughter who are separated but realize that despite the distance, they both see the same moon. As my daughter prepares to go off to college this fall, she will take this piece with her. The ocean will remind her of her home in Hawaii and the moon that we are not so far apart after all.
My latest cut paper lamp. Pictured here unlit. Tons of cutting I had a huge blister deep down that left my thumb feeling strange for a couple weeks. It is currently on display in a regional art show!
4 new panels for my Lego table lamp: a butterfly, a cactus, a bird and a flower.
Built already in August but I forgot to post them here.
We bought this Moroccan water jug at an Antiques fair in Bristol for ÂŁ20. Then we converted it into a table lamp. Most of the electrical parts we bought locally but the brass tube which screws into the bottom of the lamp bulb holder we bought on Ebay.

Ceiling, table and floor lamp, made of a white acrylic sphere with three elliptic laser cut holes and chromed metal structure.
Noglobe intends to be a provocative reinterpretation of the classic spherical lamp
The holes embody a minimalist action that reshapes the wholeness of the sphere and shows the inner space usually hidden under its surface.
In spite of the perfect symmetry of the three holes, Noglobe is perceived in a slightly asymmetrical manner that changes ad moves according to the optical point of view.
Functionally, Noglobe spreads an ambience light, soft as well as directional.
