Great Egret (Ardea alba) This egret was one of two which were fighting on my local reservoir. Presumably this display is one of aggression and trying to appear bigger!
Thanks for all the faves and kind comments!

Welcome to Phuket Town
Long before flip-flops, glossy resorts and selfie sticks, Phuket was an island of rubber trees, tin mines and cash-hungry merchants. Luring entrepreneurs from the Arabian Peninsula, China, India and Portugal, Phuket Town (เมืองภูเก็ด) became a colorful blend of cultural influences.
Today, the Old Town is a testament to Phuket's history, but it's also the island's hipster heart, attracting artists and musicians in particular, which has led to noticeable gentrification. Century-old hôrng tăa·ou (shophouses) and homes are being restored, vibrant street art is popping up and it can feel like every other building is now a fashionable polished-concrete cafe.
But Phuket Town remains a wonderfully refreshing cultural break from the island's beaches (easily reached by sŏrng·tăa·ou). Wander down streets lined with distinctive Sino-Portuguese architecture, arty coffee shops, experimental galleries, boutique hotels and incense-cloaked Chinese Taoist shrines, before sampling the island's most authentic Phuketian cuisine and Phuket Town's very local bar scene.

Today's story and sketch "by me" began very chaotic, for some reason not one of the members of the "MCPPOE" , man cave posse protectors of the earth society, notified me they had eaten the last half dozen Moon Pies. Which meant I was having my cup of Chock Full Of Nuts, the heavenly coffee with Girl Scouts cookies. I finished my coffee and cookies, was on the direct phone line to the Moon Pie Bakery in Chattanooga Tennessee, ordering Twelve Dozen fresh baked assorted double decker's, when the "MDSP" Multi Dimension Smart Phone began screeching. I answered and was surprised Rescue Randy was on the other end calling from the Fish Taco Shop at the end of the Galaxy, and was only an hour from getting a table, and anyone who has traveled to the end of the Galaxy for tacos understands it is normal to have up to a Thirty Six hour wait without a VIP reservation, with a VIP reservation you can expect a two hour wait, but once you have experienced the greatest tacos in the Cosmos, you will understand why it has never had to advertise. Randy was trying but unable to reach JB for a rescue mission to extract a Beaked Seeker who was captured five days ago, and has been unable to escape from a Dead Bewitched Baobo Pear Tree. As you can see I contacted JB and he has arrived on the Planet Ohzitt with his "Gnarly set of "MCPPOE" tools, the kit for any emergency in any dimension. The MCPPOE tool kit may be available soon in the Man Cave Gift Shop, The gift shop for the Man Who Doesn't Have Everything. Until next time taa ta the Rod Blog.

Today's story and sketch "by me" you see the B&R Galaxy Glider
of Dr Mario "Magic" White, a one eyed Phalopian from Lippo "the Blue Moon", owner and designer of "White Magic
Space Suites", best known recently for his provocative Liquid crystal, baby doll glow in the dark pajamas. Dr White is with his girlfriend Lavi who was his research assistant and lingerie model until recently when she became full time girlfriend, replacing Wanda Kaygler, who until recently
was the polyester space stretch pants model, but that is a story for another time. The Doc and Lavi arrived on Earth after two months drifting around testing luminous underwear, in the darkness of deep space. They have just arrived at Dr Whites Playa Beautimus Resort RV lot to find a Lavi likeness Voodoo Doll Pined to a Tiki Palm. Dr White will soon find the note left by "Big Wanda" as she is known by her Roller Derby fans.
But that to is a story for another time,
until then taa ta the Rod Blog
Bought myself a little slide copier to pass the lockdown time. Needs a bit more cleaning but here's a Tornado finals for 23 at Lossie. For a while XV had so many jets after they'd used from TA-TZ they started coding jets TA*.

48216, 48208, 48164 and 48213 power past the disused silos at Tootool as 3338 loaded grain train from Milbrulong, on the Boree Creek line, to Junee Sub Terminal.
Upon arrival into The Rock, 8138 was attached onto the front for the rest of the trip North to Junee.
The Boree Creek branch line (originating at The Rock), is constructed of a light weight rail, resulting in only small locomotives being able to traverse the line past the GrainFlow facility which is just West of The Rock.
