The water looks beautiful but isn't good to drink. You can also get a parasite (bilharzia) from walking in wet sand. We went swimming but wore sandals in the water, as the parasite enters through your feet.
A cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) gazes across Ngorongoro National Park, Tanzania. Elegant and graceful, the cheetah is the fastest running animal, with ground speeds over 70 mph! On August 23, 2012 Brian Conybeare, Gov. Cuomo's Tappan Zee project spokesperson visted the Yorktown Chamber to give his presentation on the bridge project.
