Spending too much time on this project (365). But had some fun working with one flash setup.

The Tashkent Television Tower (Uzbek: Тошкент Телеминораси, Toshkent Teleminorasi) is a 375-metre-high (1,230 ft) tower, located in Tashkent, Uzbekistan and is the twelfth tallest tower in the world. Construction started in 1978. The tower began operating six years later, on 15 January 1985. It was the fourth tallest tower in the world from 1985 to 1991. The decision to construct the tower was made on 1 September 1971 in order to spread TV and radio signals throughout Uzbekistan. It is a vertical cantilever structure, and is constructed out of steel. Its architectural design is a product of the Terkhiev, Tsarukov & Semashko firm.

The tower has an observation deck located 97 metres (318 ft) above the ground. It is the second tallest structure in Central Asia after Ekibastuz GRES-2 Power Station in Ekibastuz, Kazakhstan. It also belongs to the World Federation of Great Towers.

Taken at The Old Graveyard, located in Carmi, Illinois. The land for the graveyard was donated by Edwin Webb, upon his death in 1858. However, it was most likely being used before then. The last burial there was in 1966.

The last of the Christmas holiday but a good one and wonderful to be able to dress so often through the holiday period.

Olivia in her Widow's Weeds... From the Redgrave Star Wing Brewery ShakesBeer Festival performance of Twelfth Night.

These were shot as part of William Peace Theatre's cast portraits for their upcoming production of Shakespeare's Twelveth Night.

This is Olivia, the Countess. She's very regal woman, in love with Viola, who is only pretending to be a man. Viola is very uncomfortable with Olivia's advances, but Olivia doesn't understand why.

Twelfth Night is traditionally when the Christmas decorations come down in much of the UK as it is the 12th and final day of Christmas. Time to enjoy them one last day.

I wonder where the "f" came from in the word Twelfth... it's like it has a listhp ;)

Anyway tonight is it... the shakespearishly embibed night of fauns and pucks? annnd when you have to take your decorations down. Why? To let the tree spirits get back to the forest of course!, otherwise they will wreak havoc in your house all year :)

Looking forward to “Twelfth Night” @lyceumtheatre #edinburgh this September #shakespeare #theatre #lyceum

I took these photos of the great Pete Fountain back in 2003. Pete- world renowned clarinet player- was one of the grand marshals that year for Endymion- the largest parade in Mardi Gras.

The Twelfth Bonfire in Derry/Londonderry's Fountain Estate - Pictured from Derry Walls - July 11th, 2017.

I'm a big fan of Doctor Who, so I thought I'd start a series of vector drawings of all the various Doctors.

Last month the BBC finally released a photo of the brand new Twelfth Doctor in his official costume, so I thought I'd get a head start and draw him.

Seeing as the show won't be back until Fall 2014, we don't yet know much about this particular incarnation of the Doctor. So far all we know is that he's got new kidneys, he doesn't like their color and he doesn't know how to fly the TARDIS.

I'm also not sure if he'll keep the Eleventh Doctor's extendable sonic screwdriver or opt for a new model. If he does get a new one (and I wouldn't be surprised if he did, since it would give the toy companies another geegaw to sell), I'll come back and add it.

I'm curious to see how the fans will react to actor Peter Capaldi as the Twelfth Doctor. Both David Tennant and Matt Smith, Doctors Ten and Eleven respectively, were very young and were considered "dreamy" and "sexy" by many female fans who oohed and aahed over them.

Capaldi is currently 55 years old. That's the same age that William Hartnell was when he played the First Doctor way back in 1963! Will the fans of the "dreamy" Doctors swoon over one who's old enough to be their father? Time will tell, I suppose.

Doctor #12 looked very stern in every reference photo I found of him. Hopefully he won't be so serious all the time, and will have a lighter side to him.

The Twelfth Doctor is a vector drawing, done all in InDesign. It's been a while since I drew one of these Doctor illustrations in vector and I kind of forgot how I did it. I had to go back and study the previous drawings to see how they looked and match their style.

By the way, what sadistic bastard decided there should be an "F" in "twelfth?" I spell it wrong every time!

Please forgive the ugly watermark on the illustration. I swore I would never add one to my art, because I know that 99.99% of my readers would never even think of stealing it. But earlier this year I had a run-in with an art thief who was not only stealing my work, but selling it as her own! Hence the watermarks. This is why we can't have nice things.

I'm also on Twitter for some reason.

Promo shoot for band, Manchester 15.9.09. MUA Jenny Perry. The band's new release is called 'Dancing Amongst The Light' which opened up some image ideas.

Now all the Christmas decorations have come down, I thought I would have some fun with the fairy lights.

The Swabian castle of Termoli characterises with its profile the image of the mediaeval village of the city. Its construction dates back approximately to the thirteenth century, a period in which Frederick II of Swabia designed a system of fortification of the south-eastern Italian borders up to Sicily, while the Norman central tower dates back to the twelfth century, maintaining the structural characteristics of the existing Norman towers.

The Morgan Library, Macys and the Plaza Hotel butt shoulders with more traditional houses. Most of the tin village started life as candy or tea tins.

"A Christmas village (or putz) is a decorative, miniature-scale village often set up during the Christmas season. These villages are rooted in the elaborate Christmas traditions of the Moravian church, a Protestant denomination. Mass-produced cardboard Christmas villages became popular in the United States during the early and mid-20th century, while porcelain versions became popular in the later part of the century."
