Tripping the light fantastic or all about the light, try and post at least three of the following choices;
Hard light, providing sharpness between the transition areas of the object to the background; perhaps a face, statue
Soft light, providing a gentle transition from the edges of the object to the background; perhaps a face, statue
In poor light or at night using long exposure (longer than 2 seconds)
Side lighting; lit from the side by either natural or artificial light (try to get something different from the hard light and the soft light shots), perhaps flowers, something with a texture
Back lighting, something lit from the back showing us the detail in the object to
Shadows on a complex subject, such a brick wall, tin roof or perhaps a grill/vent (Not after the shadow of the object but how shadows form across the object to)
Shadows posting must include the object in the composition; e.g. if the shadow is of a bird, the bird must be included in the composition for the same percentage as the shadow
(SOOC except for crop & resize)
