Made another stand for this free-standing model in preparation for Japan Brickfest 2018. The support beams are in anticipation for the vibrations caused from foot traffic. I also took the liberty to add the Power Rangers themselves at microscale because I recently realized I actually have 1x1 round plates in pink. Due to my colorblindness I thought they were a very light blue or gray.
On the next Arrested Development....

HBO's Deadwood
one of the many trees that went down during Hurricane Sandy last October
A screen capture of the establishing shot in the holodeck of the U.S.S. Orris taken on April 2, 2021. This is for the TV talk show "A Captain's Log" which contains a handful of small animated short stories from the perspective of Rogg, the ambassador's assistant. Rogg is talking to an Orion female bartender who is wearing a blue Starfleet skant. This screen capture was used in the very first episode of the TV talk show titled "Enemies of the Federation". Rogg is voiced by actor Nate Wrista. Rogg is typically talking to the Ambassador to the fans (Star Trek Fans), Bryan Kreutz and Lili Fox-Lim on a viewscreen in a live action setting on a federation starship from Star Trek. This was the longest scene that contained full animation and dialogue in the series' 13 episode first season.
Macro Mondays
Theme: TV shows
Couldn't pass up this Marco Monday... not a fan of tv shows but this tv show Dexter. Season 6 starts in September can't wait!
Animated character from the TV talk show series "A Captain's Log" (Star Trek news and interviews). The red haired animated android named Rogg speaks to the ships computer in the corridor outside the holodeck on the U.S.S. Orris. This is the short animation from the live action TV talk show "A Captain's Log" in the 10th episode. Designed in Summer 2021 by Ian H. Stewart.
The chandelier was lowered to be cleaned and re-lamped.Have you seen the 'Only fools and horses' sketch?
This is a microscale island I made to fill out the background imagery for the world of Wandering Skies!
For over a year now I've been part of a team that's working to create the largest stopmotion brickfilm to date. Wandering Skies is a steampunk world set among floating islands. It's intended to be a 4 season long TV show, with 8 episodes per season. We are currently running a Kickstarter in order to create a pitch video that we can take to investors.
Check out Wandering Skies' Instagram for updates!
Enjoy!
Wishing you a truly bloody Halloween.....

Macro Mondays: Favorite TV Shows
Here I didn't think I was going to get a chance to participate in this week's theme, and now I have a second one!
Anyway, another cool and off-the-usual path tv show is Breaking Bad. A drama about a straight-laced high school chem teacher who finds out he has terminal cancer and decides to go into the crystal meth cooking business to make some money for his family before he's gone. Apparently 'breaking bad' means to raise hell and it's interesting to see this character go through what he does. Awesome show!
Animated characters from the TV talk show series "A Captain's Log" (Star Trek news and interviews). The red haired animated android named Rogg listens to the captain on the bridge of the U.S.S. Orris standing alongside him is the science specialist ensign Fallbrook before the two beam down to his home planet Exo III. This is the short animation form the live action TV talk show "A Captain's Log" in the 10th episode. Designed in Summer 2021 by Ian H. Stewart.
Here is our first scene from the TV show. Features both Corsairs they used in the TV show. Used some stuff from Sydag's hangars, mainly for the flight crews. PA's fine lil Willys Jeep used as a scramble vehicle. In the back is one of the pilots drinking on their favorite beverage, Skotch, playing with the groups mascot Meatball. :)
Finally here it is!! The "Springbrick"

Macro Mondays, TV Show - HMM!
ODC, Begins with K - A bit of a stretch, but a little bit of fun too, I hope.
Think classic 1970s American TV Show featuring a bald detective with a penchant for lollipops and the above catchphrase :-) Although I'm not American and I was too young to watch it, it's amazing how some things become part of the public consciousness!

Regarding David Hasselhoff aka Michael Knight
and his car K.I.T.T. - Knight Industries Two Thousand from the tvshow Knight Rider....
A friend got the car and he is propably happy now to see it legolized.
I might give it to him as a present for fixing my 1984 Camaro.
Actually the Camaro and the Firebird is the same chassis with just small disparities.
I managed to pack the 2x3 red lightbrick under the hood which looks extra nice when it is dark. The overall outcome is not to bad regarding the 7 wide chassis.
What i´m not super happy about is the rear screen, but also nothing to do here right now.
I wonder if somebody is able to get it done in smaller scale, but still with the right vibe ;)
In the gallery you can find a picture with both of the real cars (Camaro/Firebird).
Another 80s memory ready to roll!
(Infact the wheels really turn ;)
