Yard macro. I don't usually like to post multiple versions, but on each of these shots - close, closer and closest - I feel the hoverfly's position is interesting. On this last one (v3) the Robber Fly just dropped its prey's empty shell! I also pushed this one a bit more in post.

On a Calendula flower (aka pot marigold) in the garden, this bumblebee seemed to be at the end of its energy reserves. Usually they rest in the center of the flower, but this one was instead clinging to the petals.

[ 鈍頭蛇 Pareidae Snake ]
鈍頭蛇是一種有著凸凸大眼睛的小型無毒蛇, 據說只有東亞部分地區有這種蛇, 而光在台灣就有三種, 個性溫和, 動作緩慢, 喜歡吃蝸牛和蛞蝓, 因為同樣吃蝸牛又不喜歡強光, 山裡面有鈍頭蛇的地方, 往往就很可能會有螢火蟲, 基本上人畜無害, 不算萌也算有點可愛, 奇怪的是, 他的眼睛雖然不是那種整個黑色很難對焦的眼睛, 但卻也不容易準焦, 可能是因為他眼睛太立體, 太凸的關係吧?😂

有時我們會想拍到蛇類吐舌頭的瞬間, 這個往往要靠點運氣, 因為要拍到舌頭並不難, 但舌頭的角度卻不一定好看, 朝上伸長的瞬間或水平伸長的瞬間, 往往比較漂亮, 朝下伸長的瞬間, 往往比較不好看, 而我個人最喜歡的, 就是很含蓄地只露出舌尖的這個瞬間, 因為蛇類吐舌頭的速度太快, 所以只能靠運氣, 先拍下去以後再看看拍到哪個瞬間, 這個只露出舌尖的瞬間, 我個人覺得看起來比較頑皮有喜感...😘
