This is the day Marnie and I went to Blackroot Pool and walked all the way round, mostly in woodland. The light was beautiful. Actually we weren't quite sure where we were a lot of the time, but it was a lovely experience !

Title taken from the book "Travels with Charley" by John Steinbeck, which I'd recommend to anyone. A great read !

It wasn't until editing this image that I noticed there did not appear to be a paddle in the boat which meant I am up a creek without a paddle in an ominously and aptly named boat. I really enjoyed taking pics at this sim. I am sure I will go back.

Music -- Ray LaMontagne - Be Here Now

*Ray LaMontagne's music fit the feel of this sim really beautifully in my opinion.

Nice beach for hanging out. Lots of nice couples things. Prim water was awkward to me to work with picture wise.

There's something about the overcast and rolling hills in Scotland that drew me in. It was mystical.

I do not know where the leaf and bicycle started out but they ended up together. HFF and happy weekend.

Avaloir -- Very interesting, richly confusing, deep in symbolism and strange art sim. So excellent. I liked that it wasnt over crowded with stuff as sometimes happens, this gave each part its own mini experience. Lots of interactive stuff, though much didn't seem to work for me or just kind of ended without really ending in a way.

Possible title though odd "Meet interesting people and kill them, casually of course."

This is one of the last shots of our mini road trip.

This was an accidental shot, I'd left the camera on spot meter and I really love the results.

This is just before Charlie got his new bling collar and bow tie.

I sort of like how this turned out even if the focus isn't perfect.

I was never sure he would be a good travelling companion, but he seems to enjoy going places.

The ride?

Not so much, but when he hears keys he is ready!

On my way home from work today, I wound up getting on the wrong train, and went pretty far away (thank you, oh express train).

Long story short, I was taking some silhouette shots of this guy waiting on the platform while waiting for the next train back. He came to talk to me after seeing my camera, and it turned out that he also does photography! We hung out and talked until my train came, which was pretty awesome. Who ever expects to meet new friends like that? :)

(So thank you Erick for modeling for my shot without realizing it, haha)

And after about 2 and a half hours, I am back home wooooooo

Hope you guys had a great day!
