Weasels change colors in the winter. Normally they are a range of browns. The black tip at the end of the tail is meant as a distraction for predators who might chase them. If said predator falls for the deception, and leaps for the black, the weasel gets away.

This little fella was trapped in a spiders web. He was hanging head up, so this has been rotated 90'.
He was still alive, so after taking a few pictures of him I released him.

this was an installation at spitalfields - can't remember who the artist was. it looked very impressive at night.
This lily pad is trapped just below a thin layer of ice while bits of cat tails lie on top of the ice.
Cricket: "Uh, Daisy.... if I knew when you invited me on this Arctic expedition we were going to get trapped in this ice cave I would have brought some matches".
Daisy: "Yea, well at least we have these sweaters and hats Grandma and Mom made us to keep us warm".
Cricket: "Yea, I suppose".
Daisy: "Hey, I'm hungry, do you think we can get delivery out here"?
Cricket: "Seriously"??
