Replacing a great big wire-wound 'ballast'/'dropper' resistor, which heated up like a small electric fire.
The set is essentially 110v, and was required to work on DC supplies as well as AC supplies, as the S780 was designed to be employed in the cabins of luxury cruise liners, which often had DC mains supplies. Hence a transformer for dual 110v/240v operation would have been no good.... However, the resistor got very hot, needlessly wasted a lot of power and likely wouldn't have met today's safety standards.

Broadside is a triple changer autobot. I got it at a very good price on eBay, without accesories, but after that i realized that the blue cockpit was missing.
Revenge of the Fallen Starscream. This custom was fun! I wanted to keep the Cybertronian tattoos, so I repainted him and the tattoos closer in hue, making them look a little more subtle. I also put a bunch of color accents in gray. Had a blast painting the details on his chest (all the gears, mechanical stuff, etc)

Jinbao's Oversized KO of another 3rd party's version of Britucus.
My first time delving into the 3rd party arena, and i am very impressed.
Some joints are loose, but i just tightened the screws in those areas. Plus once Bruticus is form he can be hard to balance as it is very heavy. Particularly up top.
But once you figure that out, it's good to go.
Now i'm hooked!😄

Tiene una diferencia leve de color con respecto al G1 y además el pecho del robot es gris en lugar de morado como el original.

Takara decide romper con la premisa de que Starscream es un jet o nave y aunque le da ciertos rasgos similares en modo robot, como las alas simuladas, en este caso se transforma en un vehículo.
Es la tercera figura Alternity que compro y debo decir que lamentablemente es la que me gusta menos. Creo que tiene algunos problemas de diseño y de fabricación, ya que algunas piezas quedan flojas y otras no encajan bien en modo robot.

Takara decides to break the premise that Starscream is a jet or a spaceship and, altough he has some similar features in robot mode, like the wing simulation, in this case, he transforms into a sports car.
He's the third Alternity figure that I bought, and sadly he's the one I like least. I think he has some design issues and manufacturing problemas, some pieces are loose and others doesn't fit well in robot mode.

Another version of Megatron, this time in Voyager class. Definetely, the best Animated Megatron is the Leader class, followed by the Deluxe.
This Voyager is very similar to the Deluxe, but the cannon is a little strange.
