I spent a lot of time trying to get the right mix between mesh bodies and mesh heads... who would of thought that in my 11 years in SL things would get harder and more complicated?
Now I think I have found PERFECTION thanks to a special friend.
Webb is clearing up a space mystery!
Early in our cosmic history, gas in the universe shifted — over hundreds of millions of years — from opaque to transparent. Only when the gas became clear did light travel freely through the cosmos. But how did this change happen? Webb proves the answer lies in galaxies from the early universe.
Astronomers looked into galaxies so far away that their light took almost 13 billion years to reach us. That made these galaxies the perfect window into what the universe was like about 900 million years after the big bang, just before it became fully transparent.
Webb witnessed these galaxies heating up and ionizing the gas around them, turning their surrounding regions transparent. These transparent “bubbles” were about 2 million light-years in radius! NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope has returned extraordinarily detailed near-infrared images of galaxies that existed when the universe was only 900 million years old, including never-before-seen structures. These distant galaxies are clumpy, often elongated, and are actively forming stars.

Image description: Six galaxies appear in boxes, three by two. From top left to bottom right: EIGER 4741 is made up of six hazy red or pink dots, and takes up about a quarter of the image. EIGER 4396 is primarily a hazy pink dot at the center with a very faint, smaller purple dot at its bottom right. EIGER 18026 looks like a paintbrush smudge, starting a third of the way from top left and ending about a third of the way from bottom right. The line is faint to start, bright red and bulbous at the center, and links faintly to three smaller purple dots at bottom right. EIGER 4784 also takes up a lot of the space. It has many pink and red ovals at the center along a mostly horizontal line, and a red dot and a blue dot appear arching up in a disconnected clockwise spiral shape. The faint line breaks, but points toward a bright red dot at the top right, which also has a hazy red region around it.

Le jaune (sauvé de la poubelle): gros nettoyage, enlever les vitesses et les plateaux. Acheté guidon, pédales, roue arrière, pneus et chaîne! Il est à vendre...ou pour moi.

Today I was most surprised when I saw this image. This is a Passion Flower Catepillar (Agraulis Vanillae) starting it's Metamorphose stage in life.
This will Transform into a very beautiful Passion Flower Butterfly.
I will have to keep a close eye on this one so I can document this specimen in it's stages of Transformation.

This ring (made by my extremely talented wife) consists of 8 individual rings which in normal use form a stack below the mount which carries the stone, through which you poke your finger. However, they are cunningly hinged together so that they can unfold from their normal position and transform into a bracelet (shown here partially deployed).

TransFormation was created in 2007 with the goal of offering an annual intensive workshop for professional dancers. Throughout the last 11 years, TransFormation has become a landmark in the Montreal dance scene as a highly anticipated and indispensable event. Cherished by artists for its intensive format, TransFormation contributes to focusing on precise objectives over the span of a couple of weeks. It is also a rare occasion to meet, exchange and network with other artists from Montreal, Quebec, Canada and throughout the world, who all share the same passion.

TransFormation is a contemporary dance intensive for professional dancers, choreographers, professional teachers and emerging artists. A variety of technique classes, workshops and creation laboratories are offered on an à la carte basis encouraging the artists themselves to choose a programming which would best fit their pursuit of their unique artistic development.
Dancers develop their own distinct way of working, bringing a singularity and their own particular colour to the creations they take part in. Consequently, the contemporary dancer must not only explore new techniques but also new “states of body”. Transformation is a place that offers the opportunity to acquire and incorporate new tools, to improve critical sense and refine one’s personal aesthetic choices.
TransFormation brings together dancers from different horizons and with different views and interests. Together these factors make for a very unique and enriching experience. Every year dancers leave with an appreciation for the fluidity of interpersonal relations between the dancers, choreographers and faculty as well as the intense concentration of the workshop and the atmosphere of artistic freedom that is felt in the different studios during TransFormation.
The program reflects the dancer’s commentaries, views and interests in the new paths of contemporary creation along with the human and artistic experience of its director Lisa Davies and its founders Catherine Viau and David Pressault. The choice of faculty is based on a desire to offer a space of real transformation.

As a conservative estimate, I've driven past this scene well over a thousand times in the last five years. It's one of those sights that's so ingrained in my routine that I stop seeing it.
I'm glad this morning's mist changed that.

transformed into a giant screen for giant projections for the 3 queens visit to liverpool next week, the port of liverpool building in another guise.
This is the queue in the Liverpool One shopping centre when the Transformers Roadshow came to town. We spent a happy afternoon working our way through this lot twice. The joys of being a grandparent!
