I don't really know much about this building, as there doesn't appear to be much information about it readily accessible on the Internet, but I have passed it several times in the past week as I've been travelling to work a different route to usual.
It's near the big roundabout in Wandsworth, and is part of an area called Plantation Wharf right next to the Thames.
It is fairly unusual in its design compared to most other tower blocks in the area so I thought it was worth trying to take a snap or two for posterity.
Easier said than done, due to its height and the fact that it is pretty much surrounded by buildings which preclude one from being able to capture it in its entirety, even with my 17mm tilt shift Canon lens. When I was in a doll collector’s club, we had “Buy, Sell, and Trade” about 4 times a year at our meetings. Charlotte wears a dress I got at one of those sessions. 👗
I recently did a trade with ponyguru and her pile of stuff showed up at my door today. I initially just traded for the two Graces you see, but she found a lot of 70s doll clothes and accessories she figured I might like.
I had to leave the house but I managed a few pics. I already see some Best Buys and other later 70s stuff like chairs and accessories so I’m excited to dig through all this when I get home.

- OM Brickarms Star Wars (tusken raiders sandstick, rebel trooper OM Fleet blaster, etc...)
- WWII themed items that you think can catch my attention ;-)
ALL ITEMS IN NEW OR LIKE NEW CONDITION ONLY.
Due to several scams and problems, I'm applying the following rules for all trades :
- WANTS/HAVES format only. Quote your haves, or better, tag me on a pic. All messages which don't stick to this format will be at best ignored, at worst deleted.
- I'm from Europe Which means you might have to ship overseas if we trade... So if it is a problem for you, don't bother commenting... You and I will save time.
- I'm not shipping first anymore. I'm waiting for your package and have yours sent in the next 24 hours after receipt. If you want delivery confirmation packages, it's not a problem for me.
- If I'm making wants lists/pics it's for a good reason, please stick to the things I ask or to the kind of items I like (which you can easily identify in my stream).
- If I want something from you, I comply with your rules. If you want something from me, you comply with mine...
- Any questions, please ask, I don't bite :-) it's just that I'm both taking and doing this more seriously than many...
