At 12 Noon, September 23 Backbone Campaign worked with our allies PopularResistance.org to cover the US Trade Representative's offices with giant banners. A block from the White House, a 9 people in a team 20 people risked arrest to escalate the fight to protect the world from the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a "NAFTA on Steroids" style agreement that would concentrate power with transnational capital (the 1% and the corporations they hide behind) and undermine the very essence of any social contract or international agreements based on inalienable human rights.

There were no arrests and Backbone Campaign was proud to be intimately involved in the planning, training for, and execution of this bold action. Thank you to our friends and allies (new and old) who made today's action possible. Code Pink, Veterans for Peace, and especially Margaret Flowers and Kevin Zeese of PopularResistance.org/ who made this possible. More at FLUSHtheTPP.org/
