68020 'Reliance' heads south at Red Bank with the delayed 07.31 Manchester - Crewe (via Carnforth) TPE test train on Thurs 18th October 2018.
DRS/Trans-Pennine Express 68019 sits in platform 7 of Preston on 06/02/18, as it prepares to work the 5Z09/1202 Preston to Crewe CS ECS, having arrived earlier as 5Z08/1000 from Crewe CS. This is the first time the loco, and indeed any in the new TPE livery, had worked under their own power and on a train. A knowledgeable member of crew informed me that it is due to follow 68021 to the Czech Republic in due course.
Trans Pennine Express Class 802 set no. 802218 crosses the Rochdale Canal and heads onto the Gauxholme Viaduct at Todmorden in Calderdale on the afternoon of Friday 24 March 2023. This train was 1P29, the Liverpool Lime Street (1342hrs) to Newcastle service.

TPE 185 108 passing Marsden with a service to Manchester. The canal is Huddersfield Narrow canal seen just before Standedge tunnel. It was also the longest, deepest and highest canal tunnel in Britain at 5000 meters long.
