TransPennine Express 802 212 is seen rounding the curve into Marsden as it works to Liverpool from Newcastle. It will soon enter standedge tunnel which goes under the rising moor seen in the background.

A Transpennine Express unit works wrong line into Brunswych Parkway powered at the rear by 68031 Felix. It will quickly return to Scarborough
68022 (formerly 'Resolution') has lost the distinctive TPE livery. The loco and coaching set CH12 are running trials between Bicester North and Birmingham Moor Street or to Stourbridge Junction Chiltern Depot.
3J08 the 1544 Bicester North to Stourbridge Junction depot is seen approaching Tyseley Station.
Through the gap in the foliage, above the loco, is the old Smiths Potato Crisp factory is visible.

TPE's 2J66 1347 Leeds to Huddersfield service passes Heaton Lodge Junction. A fine sky behind 185145, fine steps too. The bit in the middle is at least colourful....

Trans Pennine Express Class 802 set no. 802218 crosses the Rochdale Canal and heads onto the Gauxholme Viaduct at Todmorden in Calderdale on the afternoon of Friday 24 March 2023. This train was 1P29, the Liverpool Lime Street (1342hrs) to Newcastle service.

DRS/Trans-Pennine Express 68019 sits in platform 7 of Preston on 06/02/18, as it prepares to work the 5Z09/1202 Preston to Crewe CS ECS, having arrived earlier as 5Z08/1000 from Crewe CS. This is the first time the loco, and indeed any in the new TPE livery, had worked under their own power and on a train. A knowledgeable member of crew informed me that it is due to follow 68021 to the Czech Republic in due course.

185141 is seen at New Mills South junction working the 1B76 1120 Liverpool Lime Street - Cleethorpes. A pair of 195 units are seen waiting at the junction 27/10/24.
TPE 185 108 passing Marsden with a service to Manchester. The canal is Huddersfield Narrow canal seen just before Standedge tunnel. It was also the longest, deepest and highest canal tunnel in Britain at 5000 meters long.
TransPennine Express 802218 departs Newton-le-Willows [14:13] on schedule working, 1P29 Liverpool Lime Street [13:54] to Newcastle [17:17].
