#Dogwood52 Challenge Week 15 - Creative Metal
I've tweaked my back and unable to drive do to pain meds and muscle relaxers. I didn't want to miss this weeks challenge so I have been forced to use whatever I have at home. I received this working Singer sewing machine for my 8th birthday. Originally it had a matching C clamp that you used to clamp it down at the edge of a table. That and the box are long gone.

Yoda gets to pick a toy when the groomer does the dogs and Smurf (Persian cat who doesn't play with toys!)
When searching the internet for examples of tin soldiers I stumbled across ‘Tinny’. He is so cute I just had to make him in LEGO.
Tinny is a one-man-band toy starring in a computer-animated short film of 5 minutes called ‘Tin Toy’ that was produced by Pixar in 1988. The film tells the story of Tinny attempting to escape from Billy, a destructive baby. Tin Toy went on to claim Pixar’s first Oscar within the 1988 Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film, becoming the first CGI film to win an Oscar. Due to Tin Toy, Pixar gained attention from Disney and this resulted in the first computer-animated film ‘Toy Story’.
Trick or Treat, the little ones are visiting today so I'm sure there will be lots of treats although I'm sure there will be some timid spooky activities too.
It's been such a long time since my house has been littered with toys. It feels good to have a little one around.
When Chloe leaves, after spending the day with me, we put her toys back in a box, but there's always a few that get overlooked during cleanup.
It makes me smile when I come across them later, and to know she'll be back to play with them again very soon.

Already done a minifig scale MOC for The Walking Dead back in BrickFair NJ 2014. Though there have been other scenes considered to be done, this microscale MOC was more of an afterthought after taking stock of the masonry profile bricks needed for the Pisamban Maragul project. Needed more of the Light Bluish Gray (LBG) but stumbled upon Dark Bluish Gray (DBG), Sand Green and a bag of these Medium Dark Flesh color from the Bulk LUG order last year.
Like any AFOL would think "What can I build with these bricks?" that have literally been sitting in the same plastic bag since I received the order. The commercial for TWD pops up on the TV screen...
