The Bluebell.
Anne Bronte.
There is a silent eloquence
In every wild bluebell
That fills my softened heart with bliss
That words could never tell.
I often take this back road through Warner Park in the morning for a beautiful calm start to my day.

I hope you like purple because that's what this one is all about. For Sliders Sunday, the phlox was edited lightly in Topaz Studio 2 and then I added a large purple vignette. Happy Sliders Sunday! HSS!
As always, I appreciate your views and comments, thank you! Have a great day!

It will be a small boutique gallery with a narrow theme. I am interested in manips using wombo as a layer, not by itself or with other AI stand alone programs.
If you are exploring this journey, please come by.

I’m not particularly interested in being a software salesman but I wanted to pass on my recent positive experience with Topaz DeNoise to you, my Flickr friends. Out of concern for being annoying I’m not going to make a habit of this but frankly I am impressed enough with it I wanted to share. In this case two pictures is worth a thousand words, so here you go: a detail from my recent owl picture before and after processing. Note that it was taken at iso 12800 due to the late hour, and even after substantial processing in Lightroom was still very noisy. The DeNoise software did an amazing job of cleaning it up, suppressing noise and bringing out details. It will produce a corresponding improvement even if the initial image were higher quality. If you find yourself interested in checking out the software, you can use this link to download it for free, plus get a 15% discount if you purchase:
OK, I’ll quit now, thanks for humoring me!

For Down Under Challenge No. 970, I used mainly Topaz Glow, which I downloaded only a few hours before I started playing with Gill4leuren's challenge image (see it in 1st comment); so this is my first attempt at using Glow.

A male ruby topaz hummingbird (Chrysolampis mosquitus). Hummers are territorial and this one would perch on this branch to watch over his domain. Anytime another hummer entered, he would fly off to chase it away.
I wanted to get him (or any other hummer) feeding off a flower, but they just move so fast. I had to settle for a perch shot. This location was inside a tree, so I used a ladder to get eye-level and a flash to provide fill light.
The male ruby topaz has wonderful colors but they are not on display all of the time (or even most of the time). You need to catch the male when it flares out its feathers which causes it to transfer from a drab brown little bird into something like what you see here - red top, yellow breast.
