Todays challenge for the daily shoot was, What tools do you use and appreciate on a daily basis? Make an interesting photo of one such tool today.
Well I considered taking a shot of some of the tools out of my toolbox I keep in my office, but then thought about it, there really for decoration as I do not do hands on tech work any more so when I thought about it I had to get a shot of these, Not sure I appreciate the blackberry, but I am addicted to it and would be lost without my android Nexus one cellphone
Of course beingme I slipped in a little bit of reflection
Update on Dr's visit, it went well, not likely i will need surgery, it sees the problem is something I have had all my life, basically my knees are deformed and my knee cap doesnt sit where it should, so I start on Physical therapy on Monday twice a week for 6 weeks which hopefully will alleviate or ease the issues I have had
For Crazy Tuesday!, I went investigating in our very messy tool drawer and found this mini "sculpture". It had created itself around a random magnet. I just clamped onto it with a well-worn wrench, and voila! (Background is a sateen coat of mine.)

Huntington Beach, California
A young skilled surfer tests the waves on a summer morning in Huntington Beach which is also know as Surf City USA.
The morning was overcast and so the water did not display its usual clarity and color. The advantage though is the lack of strong shadows on the surfer's face. Wave Tools happens to be a brand of surfboard. It is not my intention to advertise for them, but thought that in this photo, the board provided both an interesting commentary and a splash of needed color.

Macro Mondays theme: Tool
Attachments for Dremel tool.
Thanks for your recent comments and likes. Have been mostly offline this month. Hope to be back in the groove soon.

A 16mm wood cutting tool, this drill bit cuts 16mm circular holes in wood or fibreboard. It is often used to prepare a seating for recessed door handles and hinges on cabinets. I used my vintage Metz 45 "hammerhead" flash unit off camera to light this image.
FlickrFriday: Hand tools. For photography, I like any object at home that can be turned into a cool macro, or bokeh.
Our Daily Challenge: Brush(es)
Compositionally Challenged: Reflections week - the brush is a reflection, everything that is 'real' is blurred and turned into bokeh. :-)

The theme for the next challenge will be “toolbox”. In case you don’t have a tool box full of wrenches and such, I‘m including all things considered tools of the trade like artist supplies, cosmetics, etc. as long as they are in a storage box of some type. I also include first aid kits as a choice.
Fishing hasn’t been allowed whilst we’ve been in lockdown. When the rules were eased a little, fishing was back on the agenda, we can also now leave our own area. A beautiful Wednesday morning provided the perfect opportunity for a short drive from home, just over the Yorkshire county boundary into Lancashire to a lake where my husband can fish and I could go for a walk. Before I set off walking we set up the box of fishing ‘tools’ and a net on the grass by the lakeside so I could capture this weeks shot. I can see that there are floats and line in there, but I’m unsure what all the other bits are for.
Thank you for your visit and your comments, they are greatly appreciated.
