One of the pictures I have included in a small exhibition of photos in the Grapevine Bar, Questors Theatre in Ealing. The exhibition runs alongside the PlayBack production "A Little Patch of Ground" and is inspired by Ealing allotments.

I prefer to carve the end rather than stick a crystal to it (much as I love crystals). The abstract phallic shape refers to intention leading to action and manifestation, a 'Yang' or masculine quality.

My paint cup. I love animal shaped coffee mugs--whimsy meets function in my coffee cupboard. I don't like to throw the cups away and I've been collecting them for 20yrs (so I probably need to let some go sometime). Every so often, as they chip and crack, I re-purpse them. I have an alligator cup pencil holder on my desk, a flamingo holds paint brushes and my handy frog is the water cup on the art table. They never fail to make me smile.
