Too sleepy to get up and drink.

After a tiring day of working in the house before and after the painter, I was exhausted and I too slept thru Earth Hour - but at least my lights were off and no candles burning.

It was a blessing in disguise as a slow GAS LEAK had started in my home after the painter moved my cooking stove away from the wall. The smell of gas was more prominent the next morning and after calling the propane company and no one ever returned my call, I had to call the fire dept by afternoon - after the firefighters opened the windows for circulation it got even worse and they made me leave the house. I was freaking out for my cats!!!!!!!! The entire crawl space was wreaking with fumes and the firemen turned off the tank and aired out the whole house. Turns out the propane drops, not rise, and the furnace was drawing everything down into the crawl space and out through all the vents. WHEW!!

when will it all end?????

It was quite a scene - 4 Fire Dept vehicles and about 10-12 firefighters. Most of them are volunteers here. THANK GOD FOR OUR FIREFIGHTERS. Not until it happens to you do you realize how they risk their lives for us. All of them in my house making sure the fumes were drawn out with a risk of explosion. Dang!!!

All the cats are safe!! :-)

For over an hour I could not find Boo Kitty - thought he went out one of the doors when they were open. I know he is scared to death when anyone comes into the house and he hides. I could not find him anywhere - call for supper and treats - still no Boo - FINALLY I saw him peaking down the stairway - I still have NO idea where he was hiding!! CATS!

(Did I think to take any photos of the emergency vehicles in front of the house? of course not - I keep forgetting I have a camera in my phone)

I only had my iPhone as I was also running the race in the men's division. This was my first ever non-marathon race with the New York Road Runners. Taken at the first ever Autism Speaks 4 Miles For Hope.

My new son ... he is awesome.

I had to let Jasmine go on Sunday. She went into kidney failure on the day that Bean passed away. My vet said she's never seen anything like this - three cats going so soon after one another. Jasmine had kidney problems a few years ago but she'd gotten over it. She'd always been a nervous cat and reacted to changes in her living environment so I guess loosing her 2 best friends was just too much for her. This had nothing to do with the poison cat food scare. They all died from different things. Daisy was cancer, Bean was probable tumours in her lungs and the loss of Daisy and Jasmine died of kidney failure.

I can't believe this has happened. I never, in a million years could have predicted this. I miss my little friends so much. I always thought that if one were to die that at least I'd have the other two to comfort me but they're all gone. Thankgod I have my daughters and hubby. They help so much. I'm glad that Violet & Lily are too young to know what's happened.

Thinking of Daisy, Bean & Jasmine, healthy again, playing with one another, annoying one another, wrestling and running around - thinking that somehow they're doing this now, somewhere - I just need to think that they are happy again.

I've never been without a cat. My vet assured me that one will find me when I'm ready. Not for awhile though.

I can't believe they're gone.

I miss you Daisy

I miss you Bean

I miss you Jasmine.

You three were amazing

pencil drawing from some old pic. It was supposed to be just a piece of a larger picture I never finished. I love winter stuff.

It's unusual that the trailer gets tipped too- I didn't look too closely but I'm guessing it's not roadworthy.

Reported to the council's online a.cleanerdistrict site today, we'll see how long they take to remove it.

You can't eat me - I'm plastic!

Candid Shots: The best man on my wedding got HITCHED !!! I was happy to click.

Wrong sort of camera, wrong sort of lens but I couldn't resist trying to capture a New Zealand Honey Bee with so much pollen he could hardly fly! Thanks for looking.

Qutub Minar

There is a place. A place named Shaking Stevens. And this is their mighty menu. They will actually take anything the mind can conceive and place it in a delicious milkshake. I love it here, but it costs so very much for a pint of goodness.

The walls are covered with specials but you don't noptice those until you've spent a few hours staring at the wall in confusion with the others who have been lured in by the promise of deliciousness.

All the noises and the music did not deter this gentleman from having an afternoon snooze in the beer tent.

April Fest - Dutch Fair

I’ve been practicing shooting in full manual (I tend to use shutter priority) with MF. If I can get it right on something that moves as erratically as a bee, when the wind is flapping about while I crawl around dirt and rocks trying not to get stung, I should be all right when it comes to a drunk person wailing out on a guitar. Yes. Yes? Maybe not.

What kind of bees produce milk?

Boo-bees.

Never Mind The Buzzcocks - clearly the greatest show of our generation.

1981, again. Too much eyeliner and a big cake.

Heck NO, never too much! Ok, yes there is such thing as too much fog. For example, it was a rough drive into work this morning! And I hope it will not affect my plans for one more night of star gazing! :)

Any way, I know that as long as I keep things fresh, no one really gets tired of those star trails, however, I had an issue with my computer, the one that stacks the stars, and I have to wait until tonight to get my 365 out! So, I thought I would dig a little into the past couple of days and bring this out until I am able to get the star trail out to you! Another image of Ramona, at the farm area. The fog on this particular AM was more then I was use to for my sunrise images, and thats a good thing! :) Any way, I sure do hope you enjoy!

Too afraid to try squeezing our two bottoms in these

It was too windy to launch the balloons this morning.

The one I think is questionable is the white background one from Children at Play with the lavender toys. Too cutesy? And too blend-y with the text fabrics?Feel free to add notes to ones that you either love or hate.

I can stand for the whole day and wait

I can stand like a soldier outside the gate

I can prove to you I'm an honest mate !

But,

Sadly, you are the poison I chose & ate

You do not deserve anything, but hate

You refused love and wanted this fate !

So,

I can happily say, its over, its too late!
