This is a very similar shot to the previous "Driftwood" photo (which was invited to Explore), only with a different, more interesting piece of driftwood. I love the detail of the tangled, gnarly wood on this shot. In all honesty, I actually meant to post this one, not the other one!

Generally, I think this shot is too busy. I like my them cleaner/simpler, but for some reason, I keep coming back to it, probably for its texture and color palette. 20200116OffA1DXOLr8

Unbelievable but true, I photographed this part of the fence around the house in Germany. A neat and orderly country where it is hard to find something like this. Almost a jack pot. ***
Unglaublich aber wahr, diesen Teil des Zauns rund ums Haus habe ich in Deutschland fotografiert. Ein ordentliches und ordentliches Land, in dem es schwer ist, so etwas zu finden. Fast ein Jackpot. ***
Nevjerojatno ali istinito ovaj dio ograde oko kuće sam uslikao u Njemačkoj. Urednoj i uređenoj zemlji u kojoj je teško pronaći ovako nešto. Skoro jack pot.

The snow shows the absence of recent activity at this rural stone house. It looks beyond saving to me. The window lines show that it is collapsing towards its center.
Another red Dragonfly, this time he landed on my son. The closer I get the more I get to see the ugly bug parts.
