Week 8 - Movie Titles
"Jonathan Livingston Seagull" 1973
A philosophical and whimsical little film about the quest for wisdom, featuring a seagull who doesn't fit in with the rest of his clan and decides to discover the world beyond his known horizon.
I can remember it being a bit of a cult book prior to becoming a movie - regrettably included in the list of 'Fifty Worst Films of All Time' - a tad harsh I thought seeing as it redeemed itself by winning both a Grammy and a Golden Globe for Best Original Score the following year.
As I live in one of the most land-locked areas of the UK, I regret I had to photograph him in the aforementioned "world beyond his known horizon" of the local park, rather than above the crashing waves of the ocean.

I couldn't think of a better title for this one. I could relate to title, however.
Less than a dozen horses grazed in a grazing area near my home. I often pass them on the way to Lake Elsinore, the city lying just south of where I live. I used Kerstin Frank Art Texture Paintstroke for editing purposes.
