This reminds me of my favorite scene from the Bollywood movie Three Idiots...
"First day of college, you asked me why didn't astronauts use a pencil in space?"
"If a pencil tip breaks, it'd float on zero gravity; get into the eyes, nose, instruments.
You were wrong. You cannot be right all the time."
Well if you guys have watched the movie, you'd see the same ulterior meaning. =)

Players leap to win the tip off during a high school basketball game between the Gibsonburg High School Golden Bears (black uniforms) and the Lakota High School Raiders (white uniforms). These two local high schools are geographically very close to each other and therefore there is a strong rivalry even though they are in different conferences.
Tipping Triangles, a water sculpture at Aston University in Birmingham, England. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ At Aston University, just off Woodcock Street, outside the Sack of Potatoes pub. As you walk into the university campus, on your left you will see the first of two fantastic water sculptures. Tipping Triangles (1994) by Angela Connor is constantly in motion, with each of its huge metal panels, or 'tippers', shifting back and forth as the water pressure changes. Angela Connor worked with Barbara Hepworth, a pioneering British sculptor whose innovations in using abstract shapes and elemental forms were heavily influenced by Picasso. The legacy of both Picasso and Hepworth is continued strongly in this work.

Making your own tools is also a great way to use scraps of clay. I have made a few of these types. One with needles in a cluster and one with needles in a row. You can even paint them after baking
I was really keen to get a photo of this species with wings open . Sadly the only time I managed a decent photo was with one of them that had noticeable damage. To be honest most I saw had damage.
Beagle Canal - Ushuaia - Argentina
Beagle Channel is a strait in the archipelago island chain of Tierra del Fuego on the extreme southern tip of South America partly in Chile and partly in Argentina. The channel's eastern area forms part of the border between Chile and Argentina and the western area is entirely within Chile.
The Beagle Channel, the Straits of Magellan to the north, and the open ocean Drake Passage to the south are the three navigable passages around South America between the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. The Beagle Channel and the Straits of Magellan are both very narrow passages which severely limit the size and types of ships that can safely use them, hence, most commercial shipping is done through the Drake Passage.
The biggest settlement on the channel is Ushuaia in Argentina followed by Puerto Williams in Chile, two of the southernmost settlements of the world.
