While comuning with the beings, Kalani and the Halkan find that this unknown race have watched the Halkan planet for centuries from afar as their numbers dwindled and they faded into the cosmic sea. These three were the last. Seeking out and finding the source meant that the Halkans showed hope and promise for a better way, finally reaching a level of development in which these custodians could help.
It is their last act to send Kalani back through the temporal displacement barrier to her time. The Halkan returns to his war torn world with the wisdom to inspire and usher in a lasting era of peace and non-violent neutrality that Halka II is known for in Kalani's time.
The sword is taken back to Halka II where it is melted down as a symbolic act of dissolving conflict, and reconstructed into items held by members of the newly created Halkan council.

Relying on each other Kalani and the Halkan knight are able to find their way out of the cave and begin to search in earnest. Upon finding the source they are surprised by the appearance of 3 ethereal orbs of light. The truth is revealed that the planet of Halka II had been watched by an advanced species that had crashed there a millennia before, realizing that their presence was hindering the Halkans the beings had only enough energy to relocate to the moon. On Halka their presence faded with time and they became nothing more than myths and fables.
Captured after sunrise as warm morning light illuminated the ancient stone circles.
Castlerigg Stone Circle was built around 4,500 years ago in the Neolithic times. It is one of the earliest stone circles in Britain and has magnificent views over the surrounding fells.

Captain's log, stardate 6102.1. While investigating a distress call from a star cluster in the Protari system our ship, the U.S.S. Constitution and its crew, were pulled into a mysterious tractor beam. All data shows that we've somehow been transported to another dimension.
Myself, Captain Jezebel Kraai along with Science Officer Cidni Starchild, Chief Engineer Harper Blackwood, and Lieutenant Moran have set foot on what appears to be a post apocalyptic world. The surface appears to be like our own Earth and so far we're reading no life forms.
Could this be Earth and could we have somehow traveled back in time? Is this the year 2231, just after the first nuclear strikes of World War III? I will update when we have more data. Kraai out.
I appreciate these wonderful ladies and fellow artist for helping me out on this one. It's been a long time coming as this shot was actually taken this past May.
I was sort of baffled about what I wanted to do with this capture then decided to do a fantasy composite with it. So this is my first try at this sort of thing. I hope you guys find it at least adequate. Thanks!♥

What you see is the Sint Josef Church in Kastel. This view is so authentic that it feels as if you look back in time towards 1750, as if time stood still. Shot made in the northern part of Belgium, not far from the mouth of the river into the North Sea.

This photo is part of a trip through central Poland, focused especially on the most tragic moments of the Holocaust and World War II, which devastated Poland like few places, but which at the same time contrasts with the incredible rebirth of the country up to the present day.
Just as I found this old coach on Warsaw's most important street, Krakowskie Przedmieście, the main photographs I took of the dramatic sites of Warsaw and eastern Poland will be with cameras from the era.
