It is said that the American Avocet brings elegance in the bird world to a new level. This image taken in the mangroves of the Ten Thousand Islands in SW Florida highlights this.

Chiesa Millenaria..... è uno dei più begli esempi di architettura romanica del Levante ligure.
Dalle origini antichissime, nel secolo XII ebbe funzione di pieve su un territorio che comprendeva anche Rapallo e tutto il versante di Recco. La sua decadenza iniziò già nel ‘400, nel ‘600 venne abbandonata e nel 1800 venne adibita nientemeno che a fienile. Dopo i restauri di inizio Novecento, la splendida "millenaria" ' ancora li'..bellissima , nel silenzio della preghiera ... e nel nome del Padre.....

Millenian Church...... Is one of the finest examples of Romanesque architecture of the Ligurian Riviera.
Ancient origins, in the twelfth century was used as a parish church in an area that included the whole slope of Rapallo and Recco. Its decline began already in the '400, in the' 600 was abandoned in 1800 and was used as nothing less than a barn. After the restoration of the early twentieth century, the splendid "millennial" is 'still there' .. beautiful, in the silence of prayer ... and in the name of the Father ...
Ellery Creek Big Hole is one of the most popular and picturesque camping, walking, swimming and picnic spots in the Tjoritja / West MacDonnell National Park. The spectacular waterhole is fed by the West MacDonnell Ranges (Tjoritja) and surrounded by high red cliffs and sandy Ellery Creek. It is also at the trailhead for Sections 6 and 7 of the 231 kilometre Larapinta Trail walk.
Thousands of years of massive floods have carved out this waterhole, which is recognised as an internationally significant geological site. Take the 3 kilometre Dolomite walk to see the surrounding formations. The Aboriginal name for Ellery Big Hole is Udepata. The permanent water made it a special meeting place for the Aranda people on the fish and honey ant dreaming trails. 16311

Do you know that in Europe thousands and thousands (more than 18k for luftansa this winter and same thing for the other airlines) of planes will fly empty just to keep their airport slots ?
In fact this is because airlines have to use 50% of their slots in order to keep them : nice rule ... but why did they still use it with covid ? It's stupid !!!
So we can no more use our cars to reduce CO2 emission but planes have to fly empty ? This world is mad ...
ps: I dont know if it is the case for this plane in particular, I did the photo as he was flying low over my head ...
Savez-vous qu'en Europe des milliers et des milliers (plus de 18k pour luftansa cet hiver et idem pour les autres compagnies aériennes) d'avions voleront à vide juste pour garder leurs créneaux aéroportuaires ?
En fait c'est parce que les compagnies aériennes doivent utiliser 50% de leurs créneaux afin de les conserver : belles règles... mais pourquoi sont-elles encore utilisées avec le covid ? C'est stupide !!!
Nous ne pouvons donc plus utiliser nos voitures pour réduire les émissions de CO2 mais les avions doivent voler à vide ? Ce monde est fou ...
ps : photo d'illustration, je ne sais pas si celui ci volait à vide, je l'ai pris car il est passé bas au dessus de ma tête ...

As mentioned on episode 01, Thousand Islands consists of a string of 110 islands stretching 45 km (28 mi) north into the Java Sea at West Jakarta Bay and north of Banten Province. The beauty level of Thousand Islands are vary: not beautiful, mediocre, beautiful, very beautiful, and more. The farther to north, the more beautiful the island become. I've explored some islands of Thousand Islands and this is the northest and most beautiful island of thousands island in my opinion :)
